That's where it stops, Burger and the Rings $19 the burger had a small patty almost slider size, the rings were uneventful no flavor no dipping sauce My GF said the same thing small baby patty but the burger was seasoned and taste good. The Cajun fries were good lots of seasoning. Never did the waitress come over and check on us other then collect my plate drop the check. No refills on our water nothing... DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go to this place and you have an appetite you will walk out hungry. $43 with tip was a joke.... So disappointed wish I saved my money. read more

Stopped in for lunch on a rainy Saturday. I thought all of these locations were closed, and we used to visit the local one quite a bit, so I was excited to give them a try again as it's been a few years! Ordered the crispy cheese bacon burger with some hand cut fries and I was not disappointed! The burger was cooked perfectly and I usually get my burgers medium well, or else if done less, most places are content to serve you a soggy mess, but this was great! The burger itself was cooked through, but not dry at all. The bacon seemed to be of a good quality and the crisped cheese topping was good and unique, although, I'll probably just stick with American Cheese going forward as the crisp lacked something that only processed cheese can deliver. The fries are real hand cut fries and were crispy and hot! This tells me that they're doing it right! They even had malt vinegar on the table! Awesome! It was kind of busy for an early lunch service, but our server was on it! Quick and good service, and everything came out timely and hot. We're not in this area often, so we probably won't be back for a while, I can give Bagger Dave's a hardy recommendation! It's hard to beat a good burger! read more

Carry out on a Friday after work. Ordered online. Ready ASAP was listed as 15-20 minutes. I received notification food was ready at about 10 min mark. Nachos from the Shareables section of the menu and the A1 Crunch Burger without sides. Nachos are huge. Easily 2 meals. Had a nice sauce with some zip to it. Was a little nervous ordering the burger as the "done" choices were pink and not pink, when he wanted medium rare. I marked as pink and then listed medium rare in the comment section. Should not have worried. Burger done just right! Have to go in to get order (no curbside) and they were practically empty. Over priced bar food. The place is empty on a regular basis. It looks the part, but it's lacking music and beer on tap. The liquor selection is super limited. Looks like they might be struggling. I'm surprised at the low reviews at this place. I really enjoy it and the location is convenient. It's a cute atmosphere, and my husband and I have gone a couple times at lunch and had our food/drinks at the bar. They have a good cocktail selection. I personally like the white sangria. Other times we've gone for dinner with the kids. It's kind of fun customizing your own burger and filling out a sheet with the toppings/sauces. I haven't tried any of the more "exotic" ones they offer, for instance the Korean bbq with kimchi and a fried egg! Although I like trying new foods, when it comes to burgers I'm relatively basic. But there are some interesting selections if you're into that. One complaint is they won't let you order your burger rare or medium rare. That isn't a big issue for me, since I usually like mine medium. But if you like your burgers more on the rare side, that isn't an option. My husband wasn't thrilled about that the first time we went there, but it wasn't enough for him to not go back. By the way, if you're not into burgers they have a pretty good variety of other things like chicken sandwiches, chili, and mac and cheese. But when I go here I always go for a burger so I can't review any of those items. read more

One thing comes to mind after eating here twice. OVERPRICED FLAVORLESS BURGERS. I am really surprised they have opened more than one location because these burgers leave much to be desired. The paties have absolutely no flavor the service left much to be desired. I ordered the crispy cheese burger with a Parmesan crisp on the inside with out the bun. I didn't get French fries, just the burger patty and the insides. My friend got the same but fries and bun accompanied his meal. Definitely short on waiting staff. Took probably ten minutes to get asked what I would like to eat. It's just embarrassing. Our waiter was some teenager who was handling probably the whole half of the floor at once. The food was phenomenal, though. The atmosphere was nice aswell. Could use some improvement. The Manager, Jose, was very nice, however that really doesn't make up for the short of waitstaff. Don't even ASK me how long it took for the receipt and payment. Probably took 40 minutes. Wife and I decided to give this place a shot last night. The burgers weren't bad, but I don't consider them to be good enough to go out of my way for. I had the Mexicali Burger. Cooked pretty well at Medium, which is a big plus since most places will burn the heck out of a To-Go burger. The Taste was alright but all i pretty much tasted was the peppers on it, not any of the other toppings. The fries were decent, but it tasted like their oil was old. We also had their fried artichokes which I was very disappointing in considering they were supposed to be the specialty item of theirs. The artichokes were just bland and the only flavor they had was from the dipping sauce. Don't think the cost of their food is justified with the lack of flavor. read more

I recently moved into the area so I've been trying various restaurants. I stumbled on this GEM. If your looking for a great Burger and you want it your way You have to try this place! Best take out I have had in months ! You can literally customize the burger any way you want it. Tons of options ! The order was ready quickly and hassle free pick up. To top things off the order was 100% accurate. With the strain COVID has brought to many restaurants order accuracy has suffered (which is understandable). I was not impressed and probably won't be back. I ordered a balsamic chicken type pita and the pita was so soggy from the chicken that it wasn't even edible. I literally had a puddle on my plate. I took the chicken out of the pita and basically paid a ridiculous amount of money for a piece of grilled chicken. It gets 2 stars instead of 1 because the loaded fries were pretty good. The food here is pretty good however I have had some instances where my burger wasn't cooked to order (ordered it medium got it back well done). I typically ordered the Train Wreck and the BBQ bacon burger. The restaurant itself is very clean and has an enjoyable atmosphere. Staff was always great and I never had any issues there. Hey all: I was at this location a little while ago. It was better than I was anticipating...I went in at an off hour and was promptly seated by the cute waitress. I queried her about the "house" soda...she offered me a sample, which I should have taken. I wound up getting the lemon/lime. No problem, tastes good, but it is very much like Sprite...hard to tell the difference though. I didn't notice the price till the bill came...TOO HIGH. The location was well laid out and spotlessly clean. I give them props for this! Every table was bussed quickly, very clean. I got the cheddar/bacon burger. It was EXCELLENT! bun was great, ingredients were VERY high quality, and it was pretty big. The fries were good...but I don't see the big deal that they make them out to be. I might suggest just crisping them up a little. The train running around on the track was interesting...but it was too noisy. Service was horrible. I ordered loaded fries and did not receive them. I told the waitress and she sat there and argued with me that I did not order them. I finally said forget it. Seriously, I have never had someone argue with me that I didn't order something, especially when I did. I received No apologies. Normally I am a high tipper and tip 25%. Tonight, she just received $1.00 and a note. The place is always empty when I do go there. I am not surprised why. Here is what I hate, people see a new place they have heard about, rush in, eat the crappy food and say, Hummm not bad! Well let me tell you this! The fried cauliflower is an absolute MUST try. I order with sweet BBQ instead of the no-jive spicy sauce. It is perfection on my tastebuds every time and I've ordered here 5+ times. We recommend to everyone we talk to- it's THAT good. No other restaurant compares. Besides the heavenly appetizer, the burger and sandwiches are amazing. I'm vegetarian so I love the black bean burger. My man is a meat eater, he ordered the pastrami sandwich this last time and wouldn't stop talking about how good it was. Really good food, fresh ingredients, nothing frozen. Brand new location in Chesterfield, MI, they are still working out the kinks in service. It will improve. I will write a new review on next visit. EDIT: The address is actually 50570 Gratiot, Chesterfield, MI. What kept this from being a 5 star review was the obvious lack of preparedness by our waiter, and a troublesome roll up window that would not close. Every time a door on the other side of our table opened, a strong chilly gust of wind would clear our table of anything lightweight. We ended up moving to another table as soon as one was available, but the room was still pretty cold. We did not hold that against the service. The waiter, while enthusiastic, was not prepared to handle multiple tables without someone working with him. Another couple of shifts, and we think he'll improve greatly. The primary issues were having to ask for silverware and napkins a couple of times, and 3 times (after requesting) he failed to bring us some lemon wedges for our drinks. Also, and this wasn't his fault, it took 45 minutes to get our burgers after the appetizer. The kitchen got backlogged, but when we got the burgers and fries, they were still hot, and obviously did not sit under a heat lamp. Now for the food: I had the Blues Burger, my wife had the Mahi-Mahi burger. Both were excellent, cooked as we ordered them (BD cooks to medium or medium well, but I asked for mine to be on the rare side of medium. It was, still having some pink in the middle.) The ingredients are advertised as being all fresh, never frozen, and prepared on location. I can believe this. We got the Santa Fe chicken dip appetizer. It was very good, but the tortilla chips are too thin to scoop out the dip, so be sure to use a spoon to put the dip on the chip. They will bring you more chips if you need them, and you probably will. Overall, we can highly recommend Bagger Dave's, and we will try them again soon, once they've had a few more weeks to get their service flaws under control. read more

I placed an online pickup order for the Chesterfield location on Saturday April 16th at 8:40 pm. I then got my confirmation email that my order was accepted and it would be ready at 8:55. On the way to pick my order up I received a text message saying that my order was ready. When I arrived at the store all the lights were off and there was no cars in the parking lot. The door clearly states that the store is open till 10 pm on Saturday. I emailed corporate on Saturday night and I called the corporate office on Monday and left a message. I have called the Chesterfield store on both Monday and Tuesday. I haven't heard anything from corporate or the manager at the Chesterfield location. This is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with ! I guess Bagger Dave's is ok with stealing your money, it's a shame ! I have eaten at Bagger Dave's at least ten times this year and they can't spare me a five minute phone call. I would only recommend eating inside the store or they may steal your money too. read more
