They had not even started it, nor had they even ordered the parts. Their "reason" was that there is nobody there who can work on a Stihl until late September. They suggested we just buy a new one. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? They kept us waiting nearly a month, never bothered to communicate, and thought the remedy was to make even more money on us??? We are VERY good customers. We have purchased a lawn tractor, numerous pieces of lawn equipment, chainsaws in different sizes, and even purchased a chainsaw for each of our kids. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. When Hutson purchased this business, it had a stellar reputation. It takes years to build a good reputation, and weeks to demolish it. They have lost a good customer.

This was a compact 24 horse 3 cylinder diesel with mower deck and front loader, very clean only 30 hours even though 10 years old. Salesman Matt was very informative and helpful making sure to answer every question before I made the 1 1/2 hour drive. I tried it around the yard and it seemed fine so I said write it up and Matt hopped on the tractor to drive it over to my trailer, but it didn't seem right to him and thought the garage should look at it first. Jason had been checking out a $600,000 gigantic new harvester, but said sure he could look it over. It seemed starved for fuel so he put a new fuel filter on and slight improvement was seen, so next a new fuel line-not good enough. Jason then puts on a new fuel pump and this does the trick, runs great. Matt was there the whole time running down parts and said the mower deck needed cleaning off after a little fuel leaked on it, so HE power washes it! I asked how much extra I would owe and the response was unreal "nothing leaves here until it's right, we don't want you to have any concerns or problems". Come to find out Jason wasn't just a mechanic, he is the service manager and still didn't mind getting his hands dirty on a little $9,000 tractor helping a first time visitor to his shop. A couple of weeks ago I went in looking for something to help my dog out with an ear issue and wasn't for sure what to get because there was several products they carried that according to the label would work. As I was trying to figure out which one I was going to try a worker walked by and asked if she could help with anything. So I asked her, she addressed all my concerns and was able to suggest a few things, some I never even thought of. So after a few minutes with this persons help I felt more confident on my purchases and at checkout I realized the person that was assisting me was actually the store manager. I was kind of shocked not many store managers would have taken the time like she did to help me. Also I must say my dog's issues are all better and he is doing fantastic. This store has just become my forever place to shop for anything that my animals need.
