In the sense that prices don't quite beat other markets such as Camden or Portabello. But I guess it depends what your after. Atmosphere though is fantastic. Especially in the summer, you can sit down with a ice cream or coffee and people spot whilst enjoying some of the free street performances. Inside on the ground floor is a workroom that ensures the whole place has that lovely sawdust and polish smell at all times. There are a few pieces on this level, but you then go up to another huge flor of antiques and reclaimed pieces and then to a third level for even more. The things range from huge, heavy, 12 place dining tables to very delicate tiny pieces. The articles are well laid out and the staff are very helpful. Prices are reasonable and of course there is alwasy room for a bit og bargaining! They also offer a delivery service. Well worth a look.

There are also clocks, furniture, glass, china, militaria, cameras, tools and all sorts. You could spend quite a while browsing the shop and then visit one of the pubs in the village, there seem to be quite a few. The Bull, The Horns, The Crown - and all these are in walking distance of the shop. If you want a nice Sunday out with a pub lunch, then visit this place. Parking is free in the village car park and its open every day.
