On the ground floor is all the mens clothing, perfume and young female clothes makes such as Kookai. Benefit have just enlarged there area downstairs so it is now super big. Upstairs is all the ladies wear and underwear I really like it grouped like this as before you had some stuff upstairs and some downstairs. On the first floor there is also a very nice cafe. On the second floor is all the home wear including kitchen items and cushions and towels etc. the toilets are up here too but they are usually very hot, busy and dirty. There are lifts, escalators and stairs throughout the store. There is small car park out the back but very close is Tesco where you can park for free for 2 hours.

If you head upstairs with a buggy be warnd you would have to wander to find the disabled ramp to avoid the stairs which is annoying when you have children. The cafe has improved so much! It is lovely, well enjoyed break. The only down side is the static building when walking and when you press the lift button you get an electric shock!

Its all colour grouped like Monsoon, so you dont have to look round the entire shop. Full prices are not cheap, but if you're looking for classics and they have a really good 'petite' range. Have diarised the sale for next Spring. Will need to sharpen my elbows though as I understand it sells out pronto!

It is a bit of a maze inside with ladies clothes down stairs with concessions mainly catering for the more mature lady. The cook shop is now upstairs on the first floor this is great with hard to find cooking and baking stuff. Also on the first floor is the cafe/restaurant this is very nice and well spaced out the choices of food and drink could be a bit more varied but it usually all tastes nice. They also sell carpet, flooring, curtains and furniture.

Its always worth a nosey round this shop as there is so many odds and ends to look at. They have very good priced cookware in here, as well as cute looking food storage. I bought a really sweet cookie jar from here at a great price compared to other shops. Theres also garden stuff in here, rugs, carpet tiles. Theres a bit upstairs with pictures for sale and also a cafe if you would like tea and a slice of cake. There is also an old fashioned sweet shop stall downstairs on the left of the store. Great for a good quality pick n mix, especially now woolies is gone :(

I used the self service till and managed to mess up my order, which became a tad complicated as there was a discount on some of the products! I spoke to Nick and he proceeded to sort out my order efficiently and with great patience, and I now have a fab wifi printer that I may a review on here soon!

The is a largish store selling things that are hard to get in town centres nowadays such as paint, bird food, garden items in the spring and summer, tools, cleaning products, curtain rails and loads more. I really like the bird food range it is very good value and includes peanuts, fat balls and sunflower seeds. Recently it has started to sell food which I find a bit strange as they only have room for a limited range.

If you know your prices the personal care section is great. This is a place tp by cheap cards and wrapping paper, look for Christmas lights and decorations as well as presents. The queues are quick and the staff are helpful. This is a great place to have a look around.

You have to bring your own carrier bags as they charge you if you want to use one of theres, although i cant remember the price as i always bring my own! Theres a huge car park out the front and side of this shop. The queues can get long here as theres only a couple of tills, but they move down quick enough.

The ranges of clothes for men, women and children as well as homewares are great far superior, in my opinion, to the store in the town centre. In addition to this the generous size of the store means that clothing is not all squashed together but well spread out and organised. The store is kept clean and tidy and generally well mainained and staff are very helpful and always happy to check stock for items not on display. An excellent branch all round!

Poundland is always worth a visit when you are in the town…read more This branch does not seem to get the great things and known brands that other branches get but it is still a good shop. It is usually very busy with long queues at the checkouts and you have to beg not to be given a bag no matter how little you have bought they don't seem to have caught on to the saving the planet idea yet. I always trying to think is it really worth a pound when I'm in there and often things can be cheaper at Wilkinsons. Poundland sells food, stationery, toys, books, DVDs, videos, cleaning products, toiletries and more.

They also stock labelled crisps and drinks as well as personal products. It is worth a look at easter / halloween / christmas as they ahve bargins to be had! Also check out thechildrens toys, they are cheap but some are great and worth buying for presents for other childrens parites! The queues can be long, but they sort that out quickly, and the staff are helpful. Well worth a trip to supliment your weekly or monthly shop
