We ordered a medium popcorn and a fountain drink, you are forced to order from the app and they you are charged a fee for doing so. If you want butter on the popcorn there's an additional charge!!! When it came, the popcorn was ice cold so was the butter...so don't expect hot buttered popcorn here! The seats are not too old but they are already in despair and when I reclined the chair was a little catttwampus and the seat was lacking fill. Right before the movie was to start the fire alarm went off and we were never instructed what to do so everyone stayed planted so thank God it wasn't for real fire. However through all this the company was great, (I went with my wife), and the movie and production was good!

Local kids and one named Joseph has been the best. He's knowledgeable and really helpful. Overall, my theater of choice. St. Simons is a busy island but the theater is a chill place to go when you've had enough of the beach for the day.

The whole place looked trashed! The worst was the ladies bathrooms, where not a single stall was without issue. The toilets and seats were disgusting! I notified management upon exit, before purchasing concessions, that it needed attention. After the movie, we visited the ladies room again. Same scenario! 2 hours and 41 minutes run time of the movie and anf it was still untouched! Staff appeared to be standing around and unconcerned. It all spoke of poor management and terrible supervision. I live 30 miles from Douglas, but will not be traveling to that theatre again. It used to be such a nice place. Also, no surprises there, but a $5 bottle of water, premium concession prices along with high ticket prices should offer a clean establishment to go with it!

I considered apologizing to her for showing up and making her life more difficult but decided not to.) On the positive side the popcorn is tasty, and you really need it to distract yourself from the hideous discomfort of the seats during the hour and a half you are trapped in them. Another positive is that once you get out of those seats you are so intensely grateful that it causes instant cheerfulness and immense gratitude for the things you have at home.

I would recommend purchasing your ticket in advance as they do work in a reserved seating format, not open seating. Kiosks are available in the lobby as well. If you have a mobile ticket you can go right to the attendant to see your movie. I've seen other comments stating that the line for concessions is long - that was our experience as well. Other that that, the staff was very nice and happy to help.

They have two different buttons so you can adjust your position, which made the whole movie even more enjoyable. The concession area was also very well stocked, with plenty of options, and everything felt clean and organized. On top of that, everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. The tickets were a bit on the pricey side, not sure if it was because of this specific movie or if that's just the standard now but overall, it felt worth it for the comfort and experience. I took my kids to the Valdosta theater today for a noon movie. I bought our tickets online and…read moreplanned to buy pizza there so they could eat lunch while we watched the movie. When we arrived, the food machines were down -- which apparently isn't the first time this has happened. Their food and snack options are already limited, so this completely changed our plans. Because of that, I asked for a refund. The manager initially agreed and started processing it, but then was stopped by who I assume was the owner and told they could not issue the refund. Instead, I was offered a paper ticket pass, which was not the outcome I wanted since this situation was not my fault. On top of that, the theaters are consistently not very clean, which has been an ongoing issue. Overall, this was a frustrating experience, especially when taking small kids. Better communication, cleaner theaters, and honoring refunds when services aren't available would go a long way.
