I bought a shed off of them. It was fair priced and delivered when needed. My suggestion is to make sure they level it to your satisfaction. When they delivered I told them that is wasn't level. The delivery person got out his level and checked it only at the garage door and said it was all good. Within 6 months the side door wouldn't close. I called them and they said they were busy and would be out In two weeks. Never showed. Several month later I stopped into look at chairs. I brought it up again. "Oh yeah, we'll come out to fix" no call and no follow up. If the salesman would not be eating his lunch in the parking lot every time I go and actually write stuff down would help. Very professional and friendly to deal with. They have such a large selection of sheds on site, that you are able to walk through a lot of their different styles and sizes to get a great idea of what you're purchasing. They said 4 weeks for delivery and it was delivered a week early!! Final product is very high quality are very well built. Unlike one of the reviews, when delivered, the person delivering the shed did take the time to level the shed and it looks great. My family and I have several pieces of poly furniture that were purchased in Shipshewana. After doing extensive price comparisons, we found a local Amish family that made his pieces on site to offer a great product at a very competitive price. I had seen their pieces along the highway and knew their prices were high, but thought at 50% off, it was definitely worth checking out. My husband and I stopped one weekend and really like several of their items as they also offer barns, gazebos, and chicken coops. However, since they were closed, none of their items had prices except the Adirondack chairs, which were marked $245. Being that these chairs run between $210 - $275 regular price in Shipshewana, I assumed that this was their regular asking price. I called several times during their business hours to confirm their sales price but never got an answer and I did not leave a message. Since their Facebook page states that they respond quickly to messages, I then messaged them. This is the conversation: ME: Is all of your in stock poly furniture 50% off? Including the $245 Adirondack chairs? BACKYARD BARNS: The Adirondacks are $245 a piece! ME: Okay, so not 50% off? BACKYARD BARNS: $245 is a whole sale price, which is 50% off of a retail price! I just shook my head at their response and thought WOW! However, after seeing their ad continually scrolling through my feed and others commenting on what they thought was a great 50% sale, I decided to comment and simply stated that these same pieces could be purchased in Shipshewana at regular price much cheaper. They did initially comment back trying to justify their pricing, but then deleted my comment along with all of their comments. THEN, I get a message from them: "You were offered our low budget $165.00 Adirondack chairs that are awesome and come with our lifetime warranty that they sell for $225.00. I'm not sure why you didn't buy either style from us. You must work for our competition in town. Sorry but you are the first complaint out of 1000 plus customers this season. But I think every reader your trying to reach can read right through this post. We will not be understood in the poly furniture. We are a wholesaler. The best of luck on filing a complaint in the future. Our prices and quality speak voulums." What??? I NEVER talked to anyone directly, let alone offered a price of $165.... they obviously had me confused with someone else. I tried to explain to them that the only conversation I had with them was the message above (which I copied and sent back to them) and that I was never offered the price they mentioned, they responded again: "That picture shows that the sales person responding to you has already told you that $245 was the sale price. You showed up to our location already knowing that, then went to slam our prices. Have you slammed the competitors in town for over pricing? All we are concerned about is knowing that we are the lowest price, best quality in town." WOW, just WOW! I did leave a review on their Facebook page, but they have since blocked me completely from their page. Additionally, a coworker had left a review and commented about his experience, which they have deleted as well. Not only do they misrepresent themselves as a local business (they buy their products out of county) and as a wholesaler (they purchase all of their products to resale at a profit), they most definitely are guilty of false advertising. We also have an outdoor table that is absolutely amazing!! They have the best prices and have amazing costumer service. All the employees are friendly!!
