Why are small children allowed to sit at the bar ? Tables are there for children and their parents…read morebar should be for adults having adult conversation. Typically, people sitting at a bar drinking alcohol use colorful language. My friend used some colorful language bartender was very rude and said you need to stop talking like that. My 9-year-old brother is sitting over there and I don't like it. First of all, why is there a child at the bar? I realize this is not illegal or against any ordinances, but it certainly is inappropriate to sit a child at a bar where adults are consuming alcoholic beverages. The Beacon used to be a fun place to go not anymore. I will not go back, but the bartender must have been still in high school since she was wearing braces, I did not leave a tip.
