I was lucky enough enough to secure an appointment with Shai. To be completely honest, as I walked to her chair- I thought to myself, "What are you doing?!" It was such a risk cutting my hair the day before my wedding by someone who had never touched my hair before. Shai quickly put me at ease. SHE IS INCREDIBLE. She listened to what I wanted, assessed my hair and was very clear in what she recommended. She gave me the most incredible haircut. My hair is now in bouncy bob with movement and I could not be happier. She gave me exactly what I wanted without me even knowing this is what I wanted. The salon is very clean and calm and has plenty of parking. They also have great hours and I believe even offer appointments on Mondays. Thank you SHAI, I can't wait to come see you again!!!

The salon was very clean and relaxing, especially for a pregnant woman like me. I also appreciated that the products didn't have any strong or unpleasant smells, so I was able to fully relax. I was about 15 minutes late because of a delay with my baby shower venue, but they were still able to accommodate me. Pauline really made an effort to work around my situation and make sure my needs were taken care of. I really appreciated that!

I chose to have Cam as my stylist since I had learned she was really good with vivid colors. So for my session, I got a luxe all over bleach (I had black hair to start) with haircut/styling and a vivid refresh (color). Cam spent a lot of time listening and understanding what I was after and also asked many good questions so that we could have the right understanding about what I wanted to achieve. She explained every step of the way and even made sure I was comfortable at all times, even when lowering the footrest of the hair wash station (every time!) I felt very comfortable with the process because she was able to anticipate what my concerns were - she reassured me and help me understand what to look out for, particularly the aftercare. Overall, I had a fantastic experience with Cam/Salon Valenti and I definitely will be going back for touch ups and future work. Thank you Cam!

Woke up early today Saturday to take my mother for her first ever hair appt scheduled for 9. We get there 9:12 (i believe) and theres a stylist there already working. States the stylist Sarah is on her way. To me is a red flag as if youre doing color & highlights your station would at least be prepped already.. we waited sitting there till 9:45 hoping she would show up..never showed up. The stylist there was kind enough to call her again (no answer) and offered my mom help but i declined. We set this appointment up for her as we have a party later today and had the time slot specifically for this. Waste of time & waste of a drive to sit there for about 40 minutes hoping she would show. This literally ruined the day. Didnt get a follow up call or nothing. Like i said idk if its a schedule issue or something that i did on my end wrong? but i have the screenshot of the email & confirmation of the appt for today.

She was so patient, helpful, and so knowledgeable on how to help just based on the information I gave over the phone. She was able to get me booked and then my Mom on Mother's Day. They are usually closed on Sunday but she was SO kind to come in just for her. My Mom felt so special and relaxed in the chair. Sooo relaxed that she took a nap. When it was my appointment, I felt so seen/understood! Ive never had a stylist before, every-time I got my haircut it was strictly business and no conversations were had. Whereas, Rheina was a whole different experience. She really wants to get to know her clients and made me feel so welcome from the get-go. Also, I didn't even know this when I booked here but this establishment is Filipina women-owned (Daphne) and Rheina is also Filipina too. As a Filipina-women, I felt so happy and at home being surrounded by such genuine, warm, and talented women!! The ambience and amenities offered here were so beautiful and well-maintained. I definitely felt pampered. Also, shoutout to Jack (Daphne's dog) for being the sweetest little guy that kept coming for pets/scratches. So cute!

I've been to Johnny a few times now, and he's always been careful and meticulous with his work. My…read morebiggest--and really only--complaint is his timeliness. He's consistently late to appointments, regardless of the day of the week or time of day. It's usually at least 30 minutes, and there was even a time when he was more than an hour late. The frustrating part is that he isn't running behind because he's still with another client. He'll be out getting lunch or something and come back with a drink while I've been waiting. I find this really irresponsible, especially when I'm paying $100+ for a haircut that already takes at least 1.5 hours. I don't mind the length of the appointment at all when it starts on time, but the additional wait makes it difficult to plan anything around it. I'm always stressed because I either need to be somewhere afterward or I'm coming in after work, and he's regularly not ready until at least 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I think my last appointment was the final straw for me. I had enough time to take myself out for brunch and even do a little shopping at Pacific Commons, and he was still an hour late. I really like his work, which is why I kept coming back despite the delays, but I won't be back for a while.
