I had come to the salon and was moving to San Diego, but I wanted the owner to do my hair since I had seen her Instagram and it looked good (and I had never had my hair colored before, so I trusted her). I had come in and gotten my hair done and the owner assured me that she would let me know the recipe used for my hair and would be happy to help me find an SD hair girl. After repeated messages, the owner would never reply to me letting me know what "recipe" she used on my hair. This honestly made me feel like since she knew I was moving, she didn't care to help me anymore. Even if she was the best artist in ATL, I can't support a business that doesn't value their customers in this way or care to help past a one-time appointment. EDIT: The owner personally reached out to me to apologize and mentioned that she realizes communication is something she needs to improve. Thank you for reaching out.

This shop is very modern, white and bright, and the music to my surprise leaned more contemporary R&B. I walked in on a Friday around 1:30PM for a gel mani/pedi and was serviced right away. The manager went ahead and prepped me for my nail techs (Felix and Tory) by gently taking off my previous polish. I was asked to validate my parking and then gifted my complimentary choice of wine (a Merlot). Felix was my pedicure tech and a dream to have working on my feet. I chose the very basic express pedicure as I had another time commitment, but WOW his attention to detail, gentle yet firm hands, and warm personality were exactly what I needed that day. He was very willing to talk like we were old friends (his words!) and personally I loved that. I truly felt pampered, not handled as I have previously felt at nail salons. Tory was a bit quieter but honey that lady can do manicurist magic on natural nails. She kept commenting on how excellent my nail health/length was and was excited to work on them even though my service was technically no frills... shoutout to my gma and those genetics though! She made sure I liked my shape and was willing to keep working until I was completely satisfied. She even insisted on a refill for my wine. Loved her. What I appreciated the most was the attention to detail, precision, and gentleness that I experienced here. No yanking, no bleeding, no overly trimmed cuticles, no rushing. From start to finish it was 1.5 hours which is very fair. My subtotal was between $85-$90 but be mindful that this price included a 15% first-timer discount. There might be a bit of a language barrier at times with a few of the techs but it certainly didn't detract from the entire experience. A win!
