However, I was told they only had one appointment remaining. I took the appointment for 4pm. When I scheduled the appointment I was advised that I would receive a text message with the necessary paperwork I needed to complete. I did complete this prior to my arrival time. This spot is located in a small shopping plaza with what appears to be ample parking. I walked in about 2-3 minutes prior to my scheduled time. I was asked if I needed to use the rest room first. I figured it was a good idea to at least try to. I was instructed to go to the end of the hallway to use the restroom. When I returned I was seated for mat 5 minutes prior to being called back for my massage. The massage therapist was a short and small framed woman. ( she was very sweet) . She did not ask me if I had any concern areas, or even what type of pressure I prefer. However, I did note firm pressure on my paper work. Overall it was an ok massage. The pressure was not the best. A ton of oil was used, which typically prevents firm pressure. This was more of a massage for people that just like to be rubbed on. I needed a therapeutic massage. This did not cut it for my needs. I doubt I will be returning.

It was a traumatic experience for her in that she was uncontrollably shaking and crying for the next several days. Nightmares and intense anxieties followed for weeks. We sought the help of a children's counselor, but also came to BrainCore Marietta for help. Melissa made us so comfortable in explaining the tests she would perform on my daughter, how it would feel, how long each portion would last. And then she was fabulous at explaining the results of the brain map, what different areas meant, and how she would go about stimulating the different areas of my daughter's brain to promote less worry and anxiety and more peaceful sleeping. My daughter went through several months of treatments. Mid-way through, we had another brain map done which showed amazing progress was being made. Then again near the end of her treatments, which showed a drastic change in overactive areas of her brain. We are almost six months out from this therapy and it is rare now that my daughter has any bad dreams. Her anxiety levels are mostly non-existent. I know that the BrainCore therapy had much to do with these improvements. I am so thankful for Melissa's knowledge and experience in relieving the internal terror my daughter was experiencing on a constant basis. I am a weightlifter, Rock Climber, yoga practitioner, and motorcyclist. I have a history of herniated disks in my neck and my lower back. Because I am so active and have these existing conditions, I need a massage therapist who can work with these issues and also do a lot of deep tissue massage to decrease tension from all my hard work outs. For my first visit to this massage studio, I had an active headache which had been with me for nine days. I have some kind of a pinch going on in the nerves of my neck which was making me cranky and causing low grade consistent pain. The first benefit is that this massage studio works with the chiropractor I am seeing at Advanced Pain and Spine center right next door. They collaborate on a holistic treatment. I had no idea that that I had independently booked appointments with medical professionals that were right next to each other! How convenient! Not only is Shae delightful, she executed an amazingly therapeutic massage. For the first time in nine days I don't have a miserable headache which was making me grumpy! She is easily able to find all the tension that pulls on my spine and nerves and released them. I am an athlete and I need deep tissue that is very therapeutic and I have pre-existing spine conditions. My original plan was to only go to Doug for a few months, I ended up going to him for over a year. As some one who has always enjoyed working out by myself, I constantly looked forward to my weekly time with Doug. I only stopped going because of my travel schedule with work. But if I had the schedule, the time and the extra money, I'd ALWAYS go to Doug! I miss him and his "dad" jokes. LOL
