Dr. Christian Guenette is a holistic chiropractor with 24+ years of experience in pain reduction/elimination, injury repair/recovery, and overall health and wellness. In addition to chiropractic, Dr. G is also a life coach and published author, leading workshops that focus on happiness and an increased quality of life for the average human. At Back2Health, our focus on restoring balance in both the mind and body has a synergistic effect -- leading to reduced tension, elimination of pain, and restoration of wellness. We use chiropractic adjustments to correct postural and skeletal imbalances, soft-tissue techniques to reduce tension and facilitate proper balance, strength and flexibility, and mind-body education to identify some of the root causes of pain and help you reduce overall stress. We also use Class IV deep-tissue laser therapy to reduce inflammation in muscles, tendons and joints as a drug-free way to accelerate the healing of sprains/strains, plus manage chronic, painful conditions like arthritis. Conditions treated: low back pain, mid-upper back pain, neck pain, headaches, whiplash, rotator cuff strain/sprain, golfer's/tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica, hip pain, knee pain, ankle sprains, plantar fasciitis, and more! History

Established in 2001.

Originally, Back2Health opened its doors as a two person, husband-wife team in Vancouver, BC (Kitsilano, corner of Broadway & Yew). Over the years, that evolved into an integrative health care clinic, where we included massage therapists, acupuncturists, osteopaths, counselors, etc. At the end of 2023, Dr. G and Shelli decided to leave Vancouver and expand the B2H offerings to the Okanagan. After interviewing several good candidates, B2H Vancouver was turned over to Dr. Kelsey Horsting, and the Guenette's purchased a home in Penticton where the new clinic of B2H currently operates. Same great services - chiropractic adjustments, Trigenics neuromuscular therapy, myofascial therapy, Craniosacral therapy, Life coaching, Exercise prescription, and Deep Tissue Laser therapy - all out of a different location! Dr. G and Shelli are excited to start providing their multi-faceted approach to health and wellness to the Penticton community!

I have a special interest in the mind-body connection and through decades of research (plus an equal number of years in personal and professional experience), I've come to realize that the main source pain and illness is more than just physical. Whether it's chiropractic adjustments, soft-tissue therapy, exercise and nutrition advice, or through compassionate listening and life-coaching, I will use the right combination of therapies designed just for you and your condition to help you be well again - and return to the activities that you love.
