But the convenience isn't worth it. First, the basic function of the place is flawed. It's extremely rushed, and appointments are set in 10-minute increments. You go in, they do whatever it is that they do, and you're off. And they'll try to get you to come back several times in a week. And then, when you come back as few as two days later, you're likely to find yourself explaining the problem you're having again. And again. And again. The receptionist is utterly and completely useless. I went there 12 times and she could not remember my name or the condition I was dealing with. And ultimately, the therapy didn't even work. I was dealing with severe back pain, they offered a diagnosis, and gave a grim outlook--saying that I'd be unlikely to lift again, that my mechanics were deeply flawed, and that I was likely to need surgery in the long run. But then I discovered TMS, read about the psychological aspect of back pain, and got over the problem I was having. Back to 100% now and stronger than ever. Do yourself a favor: if you're dealing with chronic pain, read Healing Back Pain. Don't go to chiropractors who just want you to depend on their "treatments."

I have a bulging disc, which was first diagnosed by a true "typical chiro quack" as a pinched nerve who then wanted to put me through 36 visits, consisting of cracking various things and treatments that felt like medieval torture...I'm not over-stating. After 4-5, I couldn't take it and was referred by a colleague to Dr. Lytle. He fully explained my issue and how he would treat it, with the goal of 5-8 visits at most, and then the hopes that I would not have to see him again about it. There was no cracking of my spine, no typical chiro stuff at all...in fact, I don't even think of him as a typical chiropractor; rather as more of a sports injury specialist. I have recommended several people to him and will continue to do so. If you're describing him as a "typical chiro" then you don't know what a "typical chiro" does.

A little background to help you understand my perspective. I am in the healthcare profession and super picky about who I chose for any healthcare provider for my family or I and I do a ton of research on them, read all reviews, etc before deciding one. My 10 year old son was diagnosed with generalized anxiety and panic attacks when he was just 5 years old after a major life event. His pediatrician recommended a high protein diet, sleep schedule, among other things all of which I did and my son did not show any Improvement. His doctor then recommended CBD. While it was effective, I didn't want my young son to think that every-time he had an issue/panic attack that turning to "drugs" was the answer. I felt it was setting him up for possible future issues thinking substances were the answer. During all of this, he was seeing a counselor, who my son loved. When I didn't feel like the counselor was making any progress as there wasn't any change in my son, we switched counselors who gave us several helpful strategies, such as "telling the bad or the "bully" thoughts to shut up and to replace those thought with positive ones. This was occasionally helpful. You see, when your own child is having these thoughts, on the verge of a panic attack and you, as a parent, tell him to do as the counselor suggests, it appeared to be too late as he "wouldn't listen" or take my advise to stop the thoughts, etc and would still have a panic attack. Bringing us to two months ago. Dr. Lynn at Core Chiropractic and Acupuncture was recommended to me by a friend. I did not hesitate to take my son there. I have been through 5 years of anxiety, panic attacks, and all of the above mentioned changes all which felt like all resulted in wasted time. Dr. Lynn listened carefully, asked me and my son questions. She really took her time to understand the full situation. (Not many doctors or healthcare professionals do this anymore). It is really hard to find one who does. Anyway, Dr. Lynn gave my son an adjustment and performed acupuncture on him. As of today, my sons has had 3 or 4 adjustments and acupuncture at the same time. In that small amount of time, she practically erased 5 years of anxiety and panic attacks. I am not kidding! My son went to an overnight camp where previously he would have never spent the night anywhere out of fear. He started a new school this year since he is now in 5th grade. While he was nervous on his first day, he did not show any signs of anxiety or have a panic attack like he would have in the past. Furthermore, he has been in school for 2 weeks and absolutely LOVES it. He used to hate school because of the anxiety it brought him. As a mom who has spent 5 years trying at what felt like absolutely everything and not seeing anything work, I felt helpless. Lynn is a miracle worker! I cannot believe the changes in my son. He is like a new kid!!! I literally cry tears of joy and relief at the changes in him. The other day, I asked him what he thought helped his anxiety and what changed. His exact response, "it's the adjustments and acupuncture that Lynn does." I have heard she works on dogs as well. I have a Weimaraner who is high anxiety and plan to bring him in for treatment too!
