My physio was Maria Manzon Barteau and she was excellent. She was never in a hurry or distracted, she was attentive and personable, listened well, explained what she was doing and made sure I understood all the "homework" instructions before I left. All told, they put a pleasant spin on a rather painful experience for me.

Mail boxes always full (day after day after day) so you can never leave a message for a call-back. Try following the links to findout about clinic hours and direction- you get sent into the ether or to wring numbers. Try and get to an operator or receptionist, you get nothing but dead air or misdirects to answering machines . Yet when you hobble over to the clinic to make an appointment, the staff is always on the phone (God knows with who) and makes you wait and the crabby receptionists treat you as if they are doing you a favour. If they are too busy and cannot accept patients or calls- leave a recorded message saying so or give an e-mail address. And a course on how to greet incoming patients with a minimum of courtesy ane respect, is long overdue. Most of us coming there are already in pain... We don't need you to add to it. Honestly: what a bunch of jerks.

I've had good luck using the doctors and physical therapists here. They're very friendly and very nice. They really make you feel comfortable and answer any questions you may have as well as put together good programs for your rehab. The facility is pretty nice and there is a lot of parking. It's a little out of the way but the staff and the results are worth it. My biggest knock is that sometimes calls aren't returned when you leave a message so if you don't hear back that day just call the next day and usually someone returns your call.

I even inquired and was told NO, you have to book a second slot (wait several days and pay another 90 dollars). Appointment#3 we were 7 minutes late....yes seven minutes. They refused to see us and insisted on charging us for the appointment. Only when we complained in front of a waiting room full of people did they budge and say they would let us reschedule the appointment. We will go to the rescheduled one and that will be our last time visiting that facility.

this is a drive threw clinic, they will pass you as fast as they can because the physio is taking…read morecare of 5 other patients at the same time. the physio won't really listen to you carefully and hands on therapy is none, mostly only use TENS machine and suction cups. came in with just a little knee problem and after 2 session the physio f***k up my knee and my calve even more. now i have to take work off, for how long, i don't know. the pro physio clinic are not professional, even though they have a license to practice physio. you would rather pay more than a $100.00 per session and get a real physio that will do hands on with you and will give you specific exercise for your needs. beware a positive reviews, those patients probably only have minor issues that were not specific and were cure easily by simple physiotherapy.

They obviously specialize in sports related injuries, but I'm pretty sure anyone can make an appointment if they have a physician's referral. If your health insurance covers physiotherapy, you'll be glad to know that they are registered so you can claim it. I injured my shoulder 4 years ago and this past summer it became aggravated, most likely as a result of cycling. A friend first recommended seeing a sports doctor at the medical clinic also located inside the university, which I did, and he recommend physiotherapy treatment while waiting for an MRI appointment. Out of convenience, I visited the Sports Therapy Clinic here. I've had about 10 appointments to date and feel 100% better than when I started. During my initial assessment, it was also determined that I likely had a pinched nerve in my neck which was contributing to my problems. So I'm being treated for both my shoulder and my neck at each appointment. My physiotherapist is friendly and professional, and doesn't hesitate to constantly remind me of my poor posture to help me improve. She explains everything about what's going on in my shoulder and my neck so I'm fully aware of extent of the problem. When I'm hooked up the electrotherapy machine I usually watch others receiving their physiotherapy treatment and I can see that everyone here knows their stuff. My appointment times are almost always right when they're supposed to be. Only once was it a little late. I highly recommend this clinic. There is plenty of parking, but you will have to pay at one of the machines. I think $4 gets you just over an hour. Don't try to get away without paying -- I always see the parking patrol checking cars. :)
