When I first walked in I was quite pleasantly surprised. Expected to find a tiny little consignment…read moreshop full of clean, overpriced brand name clothing but instead found a large, enticing assortment of used items, spanning two decent-sized rooms. The first room has a good cozy, cluttered feel, with a good selection of books, LPs, DVDs, board games and other assorted household items. They didn't have as much clothing as I would have liked, and what they did have was a bit on the nicer side. Would it hurt to throw in a few ripped up flannels or discolored, old Western shirts? Overall though, a good mix of Goodwill-type items and lower-end antique store fare. The second room is mostly furniture, and a pretty good selection depending on what you're looking for. Additionally, the staff is friendly and do a good job making you feel welcome. Have to give this place a good review as I'm pretty confident that most thrift shoppers will find it an enjoyable experience, even if it is not 100% my cup of tea. However, I will be making it part of my regular rounds when shopping for old, non-functioning hoardable items in this area. Who knows? Maybe I'll get lucky one day and find that musty, gross old coat with used tissues in the pockets that I've been hunting for (hint hint).
