In reality, I told her the diagnosis. She spent 2 minutes on my feet. If you want to go there, really be careful about the random questions during the visit, as they can use it as a proof of additional charge. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

They saw me despite being fully booked for the evening, did a few checks and predicted one of two types of injuries and recommendation to visit the ER the following morning when it will be less crowded. They equipped me with an amazing quality brace, and lent me crutches. The following morning one of their diagnosis was confirmed via X-ray at the ER. I really appreciate their willingness to see me and offer guidance. We were so impressed by their knowledge and service that my husband set an appt for a nagging injury he'd been nursing for months. They did fantastically with him too the next day, putting him on a much better path to recovery. If you need help for your broken body, go to Peak Performance.

I looked into two clinics but chose this one because they were able to book me in sooner. Upon entering, I liked that shoes/boots are taken off just inside the door so the floors don't get all wet and slippery. The receptionist at the desk was friendly and efficient. I filled out my form so that I wouldn't have to do it later. Going into the treatment area, you walk by various types of equipment. The treatment beds are partitioned off with curtains. My physiotherapist was very professional. She asked me a lot of questions and answered all of mine. She was able to release the built up tension in my neck which was causing the strain and discomfort. I'm by no means completely healed, but I do feel it was worth the two visits. I learned some exercises to strengthen and stretch so that I'm on the road to recovery.

Now I know why I got in so easily, no one wants to go to this clinic, I should have read the reviews before I went. We live up in Whistler part time and have never had the need to go to a walk in clinic before. My daughter had been struggling with NAEB similar to asthma causing inflammation to the airways, this is usually accompanied with a cold or allergies. We were looking for a puffer that would decrease the inflammation and increase oxygen flow so she could actually get some sleep and heal. My daughter gets this kind of inflammation every time she gets a cough. So it's not unfamiliar. I figured I'd relay the information to the doctor and we would be on our way to a good nights sleep. She flat out said NO I'm not giving you a puffer. She then proceeded to tell me I should drive back to Vancouver (in a snow storm) to see my regular Doctor. I pretty much felt sloughed off. I said well we won't be driving back so what shall we do in the meantime. She said give her honey. ‍ So feeling at a loss I emailed my regular doctor in Vancouver and she called me back a few hours later letting me know she would fax our request to the local pharmacy. By 8pm we had our puffer and our daughter finally slept a full nights sleep without a hiccup of a cough. It was exactly what we needed. If you need treatment I suggest going straight to emergency at the hospital and seeing a real doctor. Always trust your mothers intuition.

Stitches were a literal impossibility, because I sliced a piece of my finger off. We were being rushed without an opportunity to explain any of our situation. "Do you want to see him or not?" The walkway was not very well cleaned of snow and for us golden Agers this wasn't a good thing. You check-in after walking a couple hundred yards from where you park, less if you're dropped off at the turnaround. One area going slightly downhill could use a railing for snowy rainy days. You are checked in and given two towels and a rope and a key to a locker. You need to bring a swimsuit and sandals. After changing you are than led to a room for an hour massage. I had asked for a Deep message and what I got was far from that. Very disappointing!!! My wife had the same experience. Next you shower and go to the different outside areas. I started with the cold pool then the hot pool. Next the sauna on to the Eucalyptus room and the Relaxation Solarium. It's a beautiful property and they stress QUITE! The one pool with a waterfall was closed for maintenance. I like the Eucalyptus Room and Solarium the best. After showering, we had a very good lunch. The therapists knew their stuff and knew how to get at problem areas. Usually spa massages are just okay - this one was worth it. The spa reminded me of places in Iceland - lots of areas to take on different hot and cold therapies and relax in between. It was great to have a silent and digital detox rule to not hear everyone else's conversations. We went on a sunny day which made the hot areas a bit too hot for my personal taste, and nervous about sunscreen sweating off - but I'm not about to complain about being outside in a beautiful area with mountain views. Also very reasonably priced given the quality of the experience.
