Besides all that good meat, you can render the goose fat to cook your potatoes or vegetables or store for later use. The crispy skin turned into crackling and it was addictive...like crack! We ate all the skin off that bird that night. The ordering experience my sister had with Schlitz seemed normal as expected. Customer service was real-time, American, and reachable. My sister called Schlitz to request a delay in the shipping by a few days because of my out-of-office plans, and they happily obliged. She got the tracking number right away and the bird was delivered earlier than expected. No problems. Would we do this again? As long as we are hosting Thanksgiving, we'll definitely have smoked goose again!
