You get the picture (horrible pun not intended). For this year's Pride (2014), I was given an amazing space on the patio, nestled in between the DJ, the dancefloor, and the drinks. I just *had* to do something fun. I thought -- what better way to remember such a fun night than with a great photo booth? I had seen The Awesomatic's ads in my Facebook feed (you know, the ones with Jeni's head popping out), so I decided to shoot them an email. Lo and behold, they were free the Friday night of Pride, and they were happy to accommodate me. After a few back and forth emails with the owner, Levi (who I'm pretty positive I've called Eli... sorry!), we had a plan for the Pride photo booth. Levi was super laid-back and easy to work with. In fact, I was the hot mess customer who was slow to answer emails and kept asking them if they could stay longer at the event -- but they handled it all beautifully. If you've never seen The Awesomatic, let me tell you -- it's no ordinary photo booth. This one's magical. Why, you ask? It's not the super creative backdrops they can make, or the crazy friendly staff, or even the designs they can print directly on the photos... nope, it's the machine itself that really makes the magic happen. The Awesomatic is a free-standing computer/camera combo where you can see yourself before the picture is taken! In other words, you and your friends can get in the silliest poses and look amazing in your pictures -- because you know exactly how you'll look before photo is ever taken. It's a big, digital screen that you control yourself -- when you take the picture and how many you take. Once you've taken the best new profile picture, you'll get a printed photo and will later have access to it digitally. There's just something about The Awesomatic that encourages people at your event to have fun. I absolutely cannot wait to hire them again! PS Shout-out to my boy, Austin, the most awesome photo booth attendant ever. He was a trooper and worked the Pride patio for like 8 hours!

Mike, the attendant was very personable and helpful to all the guests. Several remarked to me what a nice guy he is. We received our CD within the time frame they said it would be delivered and are enjoying reliving the photos from the booth, but in color, providing some very nice shots as well as those that were just fun and silly. Overall we are very pleased with a job well done and would highly recommend Red Eye to anyone who would like to add this really fun way to make memories as a part of their event.
