I buy the canine product to help with my dog's arthritis symptoms and her canine cognitive dysfunction, because the anthocyanins in the product are known to penetrate the brain/blood barrier and can reduce inflammation. Since drinking the tart cherry extract myself, I have found some sleep improvement (it also has high levels of melatonin) and my arthritis symptoms have improved.
