She stated she told the employees to keep their coffee out of the childrens reach, but they were not doing it. My neice had this conversation only after CPS contacted her because another parent reported her son and a list of other children drinking coffee, in addition to many other issues. This is a terrible environment for children who can not speak for themselves. Before enrolling your child, please contact the Fort Wayne CPS office for a list of complaints. This was the reason I chose this school over others in the area. No doubt, it's expensive, but the administration is phenomenal. They are hard-working and always willing to help both the parents and the kids. They communicate effectively and engage constantly with the parents. The owners are outstanding. They are approachable and fully involved in the administrative and managerial aspects of the school. Unfortunately, the kindergarten program at this school is well below expectations. This is due to the unprofessional attitude of the lead teacher. She lacks proper teaching skills, and her attitude towards the children is concerning. She shouts at the kids, and several parents are starting to realize that her actions are damaging and negatively affecting young minds. At times, her tone is threatening, and her behavior does not align with the vision of Goddard School. Simply put, the atmosphere in that class isn't safe for the children, and without delay, the administration must take appropriate corrective actions to stabilize the situation.I am also planning on contacting the Indiana ED to investigate this sensitive matter. For this reason, I am giving the school only 2 stars. I request that the administration proactively look into this situation and work to provide the kindergartners with a safe and secure environment in which they can thrive.

Due to jobs we have done A LOT of travel, and thus multiple states and multiple childcare facilities (4 not including Goddard). Ms. Anu and Ms. Seik in Monkey's are an amazing team their communication to each other and to our children is so respectful! You can tell they adore the children. Their communication with parents is so refreshing! Goddard is exceptional at pickup for communication, from the teachers to the administrators ( Jess and Jenna). And you can tell they are intentional and work on improving ( including administration)! As we moved up to the next age group, Ms.Quinn in Bears has a heart for children! She loves what she does and her room is calm and so respectful to each individual child. ( I've learned many a parenting tricks/ guidance from her) My FAVORITE part about Ms.Quinn is how observant she is, we receive positive notes about our child regularly. I feel like she sees our child's full and beautiful personality! Four year classroom - (Giraffe room)we had a rough start due to Goddard trying to find the right fit. Props to them, they identified the hurdles and actively worked on them and communicated those changes frequently, with successful outcomes. (Obviously I communicate, and that's a two way street) now we have aged up to Kangaroos with Ms. Chelsi/Ms. Michaela and they are PHENOMENAL! Amazing co- teaching! Again, OUTSTANDING COMMUNICATION, in addition to the constant feedback we get from their internal app! You can tell they care and pay attention to each of their students! Thank you for such a positive experience! I will say you will see subs occasionally, and that's just the nature of childcare, and we have seen less turnover here than previous centers!

The indoor walking track is very nice. The pool, hot tub and sauna are nice options. There are racquetball courts that can be reserved as well. The rock wall is a fun amenity too. This Y is very busy. Pick your exercise times carefully as you will have to contend with plenty of others for time on the equipment. Early hours and post work hours are usually very busy.

So, when they get to the usual "school age", we all have to trust the teachers to continue the hard work that we have done since day 1. When I started looking into schools, I was very unimpressed by the selection that I had. I had toured 4 schools in the Fort Wayne area and not one stuck out to me. They were all the run of the mill, boring, mundane schools that focused on just getting through the day instead of really challenging the children... until I found Pine Hill. Just looking at their website got me excited! The amazing trips they went on, including meeting the mayor, visiting the historic Nickel Plate 765 steam engine, touring the art scene located in downtown Fort Wayne, all things I would LOVE to do as an adult! Every year they put on plays and many types of performances, which as SO dang cute and very well put together. Also, they are bilingual, all teachers are fluent in Spanish and they teach the children the children in both languages, making it so all the kids are fluent in both. Which is a GREAT skill to have (and great for resumes!) The student-teacher ratio is the best that I've come across in my search, making it so they get to know every student as an individual, which aides in their teaching style because they know what works and what doesn't for each student. Nice older equipment down in the dungeon and some newer. They got it all here. Upstairs is a nice room for the runners and elliptical enthusiast who like a nice treadmill or an elliptical machine. Nice little weight room off to the side of the runners area. Nice for older folks who like machine weights or those with skinnier arms or just not as strong. Parking isn't bad either across the street, you can watch your car while running the treadmill and listening to your earpods. I like to pop in my earbuds or iPods that is and off to runners land. Very nice gym, some dues to pay each month unless you get it free through work or being broke... I just like to go! bring your pre workout powder drink mix and some creatine and you're in business big guy. Make sure to chase down a good Protein drink after an intense lifting season along with some Glutamine or something.
