I opened my phone pulling the book up on a webpage to make sure I got the name of the author correct. The link I pulled up was Amazon. It was just the first thing to pop up and I was literally there to find a used copy of this book. I wanted to use the bookstore instead of using a resource available to me that I don't love using. Instead of being polite and helping me. The two people working berated me for "helping buy a rich guy a new yacht" and "I should just use ChatGPT to tell me the book" if I was willing to shop on Amazon. Not once did I mention ordering it off Amazon. I simply pulled the link up for the book info. My friend and I tried to leave and were told to use other sites. Which I can appreciate, but not after the rude attitude over something such as a LINK on my phone. When I finally managed to inch my way to the exit. They had the audacity to tell me I should check out their other sections of the store next time I'm in. One of them seemed to be back peddling because they realized they were making us uncomfortable, but it didn't work. Needless to say. I won't be returning to this store and found the book I was looking for elsewhere. A disappointing visit that left me very uncomfortable and attacked. Supporting local businesses is wonderful and I love to do it. But not at the expense of my comfort and this trip was uncomfortable to say the very least.

My stop in here was a quick in and out, trying to find a couple of books I needed for my expanding collection. I did not see them but found a ton of other bargain books I just had to have. Prior to checking out we struck up a conversation with the lady working (owner?) and talked books, retail work, the city and location and I really found her to be such a nice and genuine person who seemed to really care about her customers. The store is nearly a full 3 hours from me but I often think about trying to find other places to go in town to justify returning to browse her store more.

I'm on a new med and I weigh myself before the weekly injection. I researched Target.com and there were some for $19.99 weight only. Our original one had body fat composition and other numbers. In the store the tag said $20.99. I pulled up target.com and it was $19.99. I get to register and ask if they honor online prices. She said yes. It was weird as it did scan at $19.99. I wonder how many other prices are incorrect? I weighed myself today and I'm down 2.4 pounds from last week ,with many more to go.
