Open Door Thrift Store

Open Door Thrift Store

I stumbled upon open door thrift store today. I've definitely not ever given a five star before…read more But this store really was charming. It probably is more of a 4 to 4 1/2 star but honestly, when actually comparing it to others, I would give it a five. If I compare it to resale stores, maybe a then a 4. The way it was organized was terrific, and it made things very easy to find. The staff working, there were friendly, helpful, and overall just kind. And the selection of certain items were very good. I would probably say in terms of quantity and overall quality it would depend what you're looking for. Clothing I would probably say is a 3 to 4 star experience based on amount and pricing. But if you're looking for HomeGoods, kitchenware, or other things of that genre, it has a lot to offer. I was particularly impressed that they took the time to label the size and type of the linens. This is not something I've seen done at a thrift store before and it is extremely useful. I actually ended up getting some curtains for my photography business as a result. Normally, I don't take that risk because I can't tell what they might fit like. The linen area was amazing. Highly recommend if you're looking for table cloths, sheets, placemats, etc.. I also was impressed with how they have the jewelry laid out. And it made me think about some of the stuff that I have wanted to donate for jewelry, but I haven't felt comfortable bringing to Goodwill or Salvation Army. I may donate some costume jewelry here soon. Definitely I will be back and I'm so glad I discovered this place today. Well I didn't buy clothes. I would definitely skim through them again in the future. But I will for sure. Be coming to do prop source in here. Prices were fair, even if there was no Gimmick sales. I would rather have prices upfront that are good anyway.

I love looking at this surprising large antique shop. There are currently (as of December, 2025)…read moreplenty of vintage holiday decor at reasonable prices. The people at the counter are always friendly and helpful. There are a lot of little cubbies filled with different vendors' stock and each one is different, so I take the time to go through the whole store, including both upstairs areas, every time. The only very minor downside is the parking. It's tight, and you have to back out onto Broad Street. As Broad is never very busy, it's not a problem, but nervous parkers may want to park across the street.

These kind of things happen no biggy so we did what we do & of course looked for an antique store to scavenge around for a bit! We headed to Holly Michigan what a charming town & we were blessed finding The Vintage Farm House whom also owns Blue Willow Exchange right in the most adorable small town! This extraordinary antique store does not disappoint & also has the most kind owners. They closed at 6pm & we had arrived at 5:20pm knowing we had just a smidge of time we quickly were running through hoping to see everything when the owner so kindly said take your time I have plenty more to do before she closed down for the night. The store itself was incredible and so reasonably priced. The lay out was lovely & the feel of autumn/Halloween filled my little fall heart walking through each sellers booth. As a gal that antiques often I am aware that many antique stores are going to smell stale and vintage. Nope not this one it's so clean and has all sorts of soft fall like smells throughout the entire store. While checking out we got to chat with both owners & they were kind enough to share some history of their town, movies that had been filmed there, upcoming festivals, & so on! Needless to say we will be making the 2HR 30Min drive back in November/December for the Dickens Festival that they kindly informed us about after telling them how much I adore the Holiday Season! Please do yourself a favor & go check out this charming, kind, hidden gem right in Holly Michigan! I promise you that you won't be disappointed. Thank you Vintage Farm House for shinning kindness during times that don't always feel kind. You two definitely go the extra mile! Bless both of you!

If you're serious about vintage and streetwear culture, Regeneration is top tier. This place isn't…read morejust racks of old clothes -- it's curated heat. Every section feels intentional, from the graphic tees to the retro jackets and rare sportswear finds. You can tell they actually care about quality and authenticity. The vibe inside is effortlessly cool. It's the kind of shop where you lose track of time because you're really digging through pieces and appreciating the details. The music, the layout, the energy -- it all adds to the experience. It feels like a true Detroit staple for anyone into fashion with personality. What makes it stand out is that you're not walking into a cookie-cutter retail store. You're finding pieces that no one else will have. When you step out in something from here, it's a statement. It's original. Now for me personally, the only challenge is fit -- and that's not on them. Because of my height and slim build (and the fact that I'm very particular about how my clothes fit), it can take some patience to find that perfect piece. Vintage sizing runs different, and I'm picky about tailoring and proportions. But when I do find something that fits exactly how I want? It feels like I struck gold. That's honestly part of the fun though -- the hunt. And Regeneration makes the hunt worth it. If you appreciate unique fashion, quality vintage, and pieces that actually stand out, this is the spot. I'll definitely keep coming back to see what new gems hit the racks.
