This is how I felt after my 13 mo old daughter started going to Claudia's daycare. For a home based daycare it is quite spacious and has lots of outdoor space in the back and lots of space in the living room as well. My daughter has flourished in this daycare. The spanish immersion is an added bonus, my daughter already got a head start in being bilingual or trilingual and I am learning spanish too to keep up with her. As my daughter inched closer to 3 Claudia would come up with clever arts craft and games for them. She also takes them to the park too which is not something you see in all daycares. I could not have asked for a better daycare than this for my child. I keep wishing my daughter can continue here till she is ready for elementary :) thats how attached I am to Claudia. Claudia also baby sits for us when we have to go to a wedding or something.

She makes sure the kids have plenty of play time (including daily strolls and playtime in her beautiful backyard) and work on engaging activities (including fun artwork). As an added bonus, Claudia's is a Spanish immersion enviornment. We couldn't have asked for a better home daycare for our little one!

From the activities they plan, to the way they speak with kids and make the children feel valued and safe. I believe every single child can benefit from Twinkle's exciting and warm environment. The curriculum changes every week so the kids never get bored of the same routine. The field trips take the kids out into the world. As an example my son during Halloween wasn't afraid of any decorations because a precious field trip to a pumpkin patch the Twinkle teachers had taught the children the decorations were not real and even had the kids touch them to verify. It's these tiniest details that allow children to grow and understand the world around them. Another example, my son was once afraid to feed an animal at a petting zoo. Most teachers would just tell the child it's OK, just watch the animal eat. But the Twinkle teacher asked my son if he wanted to put his hand on hers and they could feed the animal together. My son said yes and was so happy after feeding the animal. This kind of wisdom on how to help children BUILD confidence in the smallest way taught me so much. All of this of course is not a coincidence. Setare, the owner and principal of the school has been teaching children for decades. So everything in her teaching comes from years and years and years of experience. She knows how to handle every child situation with wisdom and can handle any child's personality and bring out the best in them. Her experience is absolutely irreplaceable and is second to none. If you have a child age 2-5, I just know you will love this school. Please go visit it, you won't regret it.

My first one went to Twinkle Twinkle 7 years back and the little one 3 years old is going to Twinkle currently. Twinkle for us is like a second home, full of love and learnings. I have witnessed so many kids who go out of Twinkle learning so many skills and the most importantly empathy. The teachers here are phenomenon and each and every one of them really loves and care for the kids and it shows. The founder and owner Setare is such an amazing human being. She makes sure every child feels loved. Teachers are fully vetted and she makes sure every teacher is there for the love of teaching and caring more than anything else. What sets Twinkle apart (other than oodles of love) is their field trip days! Every Wednesday kids go out on these field trips to museums, parks and so many other cool places. They build so many memories and it also takes the pressure off of the parents to take the kids to these different places in the Bay area :) Twinkle has all the music teachers come in and they have ballet every week. Kids get an opportunity to participate in multiple events throughout the year and go on stage to perform. This builds up their confidence. Throughout the day the kids have multiple projects laid out for them. They do free plays in the frontyard and backyard is full of amazing play structures and toys. They have structured circle time and lots of book readings. They learn days/alphabets/shapes and other pre-K stuff this time and throughout the day. My little one wants to go to Twinkle even on the weekends and she misses her school so much during the breaks. Both my kids love their teachers. We are just so grateful for all the love and hugs and teachings and blessings these kids have. If you are thinking about Twinkle then think no more. This is the best daycare out there! If I can be of any help in answering any questions for anyone looking to enroll their kid, you can send me an email at sharmaswasti-at-gmail.com.

He genuinely loved going to school each day, and it was clear that the environment felt warm, safe, and welcoming to him. The staff was always friendly, caring, and attentive. Dinesh in particular is amazing. He brings so much wisdom and experience to his work with children and families. Beyond caring for the kids, he shared thoughtful guidance with us on parenting, including how to navigate sibling dynamics, which we found incredibly helpful. He has a very calming, grounding presence, and we especially appreciated that he was able to notice and point out things that were worth paying attention to. That combination of warmth, insight, and experience is rare. We're very grateful for the care and support our son received here, and we would wholeheartedly recommend this preschool to other families.

Our daughter enjoyed and bloomed in the mixed-age classroom and made friends of all ages. The school's teachers, who are super observant and caring about the kids' experience at school, mentioned to us that our daughter played as a peer with kids her age, but showed a more nurturing side with younger kids. This was the kind of detail we may not have noticed ourselves, as she is an only child. She formed close friendships with both younger and older children, which we credit to the way the classroom brings ages together. At PAMS, our daughter was working on projects that matched where she was rather than a fixed pace for her age. Consequently, her language skills and reasoning grew noticeably during her time at the school. While fluent in English, she also started speaking a bit of Spanish!! She surprised us by counting numbers in Spanish at home, and mentioned her teacher (Ms. Isidra) taught them some Spanish words and numbers. Our parent-teacher conferences with Dinesh were direct, specific and grounded in examples. Dinesh came to the conferences with a lot of notes, guidance and book recommendations to share. Dinesh was also always generous with his time, often going over scheduled time to cover all the topics we wanted to. Dinesh's observations were detailed, and we relied on them as we chose our next school. We are especially thankful to Ms. Dayani, Monica and Isidra, as well as Tony and Monique for their patient and loving attention to every child. They have continuously educated kids on how to be independent and how to handle friendships and activities, and we saw the results outside school. Cynthia's weekly dance and gymnastics classes were a blast for all the kids as well. We will miss the school performances, International Day, Halloween and the other school celebrations. Our daughter was well cared for and well taught at PAMS, and we recommend the school to any family considering it.

It makes me feel so confident that she is safe, loved, and happy. Virginia also sends photos throughout the day which gives us so much peace of mind. The amount of learning and growth we have seen has been incredible. At 19 months she can say her ABCs, count, dance, and even speak Spanish. I began my preschool search there and that's where it stopped :) My little guy cried on and off for over a month starting preschool at the prior school (his first time at school), so I was admittedly nervous to switch him as he just got settled. However, the yelp reviews for CLC on how Ms. Adela helps create a warm and stimulating environment for the kids so they want to be there were very accurate - my kiddo was so excited to start preschool and there were NO tears even on the first day (I was shocked!). CLC's teachers are top notch. They provide a variety of enrichment activities (cooking, sensory bins, obstacle courses, dance, yoga, crafting...) and send long updates at the end of the day explaining what activities they did and the benefits of the activities on child development (with the cutest photos!). The environment itself is magical, with a climbing wall, sensory swings, sensory bins, etc that the director/teachers rotate out every few weeks. They also have great opportunities for parents to get involved if that's what you're interested in. The tuition is fairly priced and their schedule is flexible with half and full days. Class size is small in the infant room but I did not pay enough attention to the older classes. My daughter's last class (started at 23 months but not sure of the age cutoff) had 24 students with 3 teachers at one point and I believe it's down to 18 students with 3 teachers now. My daughter was getting sick very often and I wish I'd been more mindful about class sizes in the older classes in choosing her daycare. However, I think this is the price you pay when going for a center vs. in-home daycare. When touring BK, I noticed the admin seemed to know some of their students by name. My daughter had serious stranger danger so, a caring environment was a must. I was blown away specifically by Ms. Maria. She works mornings in the baby room and is the first teacher on site. If dropping off your child before 8:00, children go to Ms. Maria's room. My daughter's transition to daycare went well because of Ms. Maria. And by "well," I mean she stopped crying at drop-offs after a few weeks. Considering her strong stranger danger at the time, this was HUGE. I cried in my car the first time my daughter reached for Ms. Maria. But, I knew my daughter was comfortable so I was also very, very grateful. Two things I wish I asked about during the tour: 1. Allergy procedures 2. Teacher turnover 1. My daughter had a mild reaction to dairy. This was a new allergy at the time and was not yet confirmed by a doctor until after her start. We did inform the center of her allergies regardless. The center confirmed that this was added to their allergy list. However, my daughter was given dairy two days in a row. The second time being more bothersome, warranting a call home. The admin response was to send our daughter to school with food from home on the days when dairy was being served. However, their menu does not list allergens within the foods so we were guessing which foods did and did not have dairy. We were wrong a few times so we asked about including allergens in the menu. This was the managers reply: " We understand that when it comes to food allergies, we must take all precautions to avoid allergic reactions to products. When ordering in bulk and when the products are unavailable, we sometimes have to source some products from local stores. This can make it challenging to list allergens on the menu ahead of time." We were also told per the manager, Raji, that they would "check if adding any information to the menu is possible." No information was added. 2. The teacher turnover rate seems pretty high. At least 10 of my daughter's past teachers no longer seem to work there. And changes happen without informing the families, nor are there introductions, so there's always new faces in the rooms. Not sure if this is the norm in other centers or if teachers are unhappy at BK. Pros: - a handful of caring teachers - extracurriculars: yoga, soccer, and music (all of which my daughter LOVED) - academics in the oldest class (my daughter wasn't in this class but I've met a couple students from this class. They were certainly kinder-ready) - app with photos/videos/summaries of what students are learning and doing -- though very inconsistent. I'm not sure how often summaries are sent but at least once a month (photos are shared daily)

During the tour of the 3-year-old class, I saw a teacher holding a cup of steaming hot tea without a lid, walking through a group of children and even hugging two of them. I questioned the tour guide on the spot, and was told that the school provides complimentary drinks for teachers every day, and that this poses no safety risk since they've never had an incident where hot water was spilled on a child. This response shows that the school prioritizes not offending teachers over children's safety.
