TL;DR: $10 MINIMUM ON CARD…read more I was pumped about this store when they first opened and have scored some great deals there. Pricing for things that I am interested in can be hit or miss, but maybe that's what works for them. I had a pretty disappointing experience today when I picked out some childproofing furniture straps and a KiwiCo board book for a total of $7 plus tax and the owner informed me there was a $10 minimum on card. I apologized and stated I didn't realize. She then proceeded to dramatically and passive aggressively wave to the small paper sign on the front of her register and the larger sign on the heavily decorated wall behind her that read "$10 minimum on cards". I felt that was needlessly rude after I had sincerely apologized for my mistake. The place is tiny and I had already scoured all of the inventory so I did not complete my purchase. I'm a local and even showed her how to use her Square system when she first opened in her original location because she couldn't figure it out. I get processing fees are a bummer, but all the other thrift stores in town only have a $5 minimum for cards. Unfortunately I see no reason to go back. She also has no problem selling outdated and recalled baby items such as the Rock 'N' Play so buyer beware.

As the wedding coordinator, I also added on two Boppy pillows to be used inside a wagon at the ceremony to prop up a couple of babies. The last I heard from the company was in an email confirming that I wanted to add on to the order the two pillows. The kids seemed pleased with the "new" toys to play with but I noticed a couple had the name Tanya written on them in large letters, which seemed dirty and old to me. My main issue is that we were only given one Boppy in the rental delivery and when I emailed the company, inquiring on whether we'd be able to receive the second one before the wedding, they sent back a condescending one line email and then disregarded all future communication. No apology, no explanation. I was pleasant in my message and there is no reason why I wasn't treated better.

Plus the employee didn't even mention they offered brochures or more information about the different models of strollers and car seats. We were disappointed thinking we would find a couple more options of strollers to try out or learn about, so just know this place is nothing more than clothing and toys in case you are a new parent looking for more.
