We're big on thrifting and resale because kids grow way too fast to be paying full price for clothes they'll outgrow in a few months. Only thing that had me bummed was hearing the owner might be trying to sell the business. I really hope this place stays open, 'cause spots like this are important for families in the community. On a previous trip to Disneyland (same length) we had opted to use the Disneyland daily stroller rentals and this was INFINITELY BETTER, it cost less, we got a better stroller and we got to keep it the whole time. With the daily rentals at Disneyland they make you return the stroller at the end of each day (there is no option for multi-day rentals) and you are NOT allowed to bring it past security into their hotels, so if you have a sleeping toddler you have to wake them up to get them to the room from a certain point depending on which hotel you are staying in. I chose the pickup/dropoff option rather than delivery and it was super easy to just swing by and grab it as I headed out of town. They texted me a code to access the building and the stroller was just there waiting for me when I got there. An unexpected benefit was that one of the employees (or owner?) happened to be sitting out front in his car when I arrived to pick it up and he jumped out of his car and carried the stroller and put it in my SUV for me. This was not expected but was such a nice touch showing the level of service they go to for their customers. Besides the ease of rental and the service, the price was amazing, less expensive for a 3-day rental than we paid for 2 days of daily rentals at Disneyland and you get a WAY better stroller. The stroller was so good in fact that my step-daughter said she was going to recommend this stroller to any and all friends back home in need of buying one. It was clean, it worked perfectly and suited all of our needs. I would recommend toddlers travels to anyone who needs a stroller for a few days (or longer) for family/friends who are coming into town with small children and don't want to schlep their stroller with them on the trip.

I was dealing with blood blisters, a poor latch, doubts and fears about supply, and a baby that was temporarily not gaining enough weight. As a first-time mom, it was extremely stressful, and there were many tears. However, Juliana's visits always left me feeling more informed, reassured, and capable. We also did a weighted feed during every visit, which confirmed that my baby was indeed getting enough to eat. I still remember the relief I felt when I learned that. Juliana is a big reason why I decided to stay the course with breastfeeding. (Thank goodness, because now I LOVE it.) My insurance covered the cost of the visits, so I just paid the $60 travel fee. I also attended her breastfeeding class with my husband before giving birth. This was super helpful, but I recommend taking the class within 1 month of your due date. We took it a bit too early in my pregnancy, and forgot a couple things by the time I gave birth. They patiently answered all of our (many!) questions and helped us compare different stroller options based on our lifestyle and needs. We left feeling confident in our decision, which is such a huge relief as first-time parents! The store itself is absolutely adorable--full of the cutest baby items you can imagine, from thoughtful gifts and baby clothes to nursery must-haves. You can tell everything is curated with care. It has that perfect boutique vibe without being overwhelming or overpriced. Babies in Bloom is a true gem for anyone preparing to welcome a little one. I was a mess, recovering from a cesarean, had just spent 78 days in antepartum, had a baby in the NICU, hormonal, etc so just needed the process to go smoothly. And that it did! I called over and was assured that there were plenty of pumps in stock. When I arrived, the clerk greeted me right away. I asked about insurance, etc. and got everything squared away as far as payments. She let me vent to her a little about the day I was having and displayed so much empathy. She then carried the pump out to the car for me since I couldn't lift due to my c-section. When I called later to ask for more information for my insurance, she gave me very clear instructions on who I could call to get the information I needed. It was such a seamless process and I'm so happy to have gotten my pump in a timely manner.

The parking was easy (free if they validate). The store was small, but had all the essentials and the service was amazing. They offered some great advice about my pump and even looked over the other features to make sure all was in tip top shape! While I was looking around there was a new mother, in her hospital gown, being helped with finding a nursing bra. How cool is that! She just had a baby, her milk had come in, and she didn't have to change out of her hospital gown or leave the hospital to find a nursing bra. That's amazing service! Why every hospital doesn't offer this is beyond me! The sales ladies are so sweet and so helpful. This place is wonderful!

Went to this location by recommendation from the Goodwill drop off center @ Sweetwater Rd--after…read moredropping off some donations there; and they provided me with a business card to the Baby Resale @ Highland Ave. The item I wanted to donate I was told they wouldn't take there, so I drove the extra miles. Upon arrival, I told them what I had, they said they had plenty of the item, and didn't have the space for it--they thought I was there to sell it. When I stated that I was there to donate it; they were quick to take it--then all of a sudden had the space. They asked me if I wanted a receipt (I was expecting the ones they give you to use for the income taxes, but they gave me a different "receipt " (picture below). Last time I will donate to either place.

All together I wasted an hour and a half of time with these people. And when browsing the shop I was shocked at the prices which include shirts for toddlers for $8 and car seats over $100.
