Firstly, our family has booked at Dry Bar across the states in some very high end locations and…read moreknow the level of customer service that is expected. This location is not up to the standard. The owner was rude to our group that included a very kind hearted grand parent, respectful aunties, family friend and shy tween. It flustered her that we arrived 10 minutes early, even though we had zero expectations of being taken back prior to our appointment time. When a cheerful, simple request of having the shy one sit near a family member, it was met with "I'm not rearranging my chairs, I'll send 2 of you back even though you're early." And guess what, the "2" didn't include the tween and the owner was annoyed when we had the shy one go with the adult being taken back anyway instead of her being left up front up. Make it make sense. The rest of our group was seated later and apart with zero friendliness or offers of refreshments as is customary at Dry Bar. Now you may be thinking we must have been high maintenance or off putting some how, nope. We legit are the most chill, open and appreciative group who treat others with respect. Again, our stylists were great. So much so, it broke our hearts to hear the owner tell a staff member she couldn't grab a water for herself real fast. Who does that? Also heard owner disparaging another customer with some mean girl energy. All this to say, congratulations on taking what Dry Bar does to market the "experience" and turn your location into a day at a mall SuperCuts.

I booked an appointment tent for my daughter. I booked a blowout on their app. I was busy and…read morecould t take her, the staff was incredibly rude to her and my mom. The woman did a horrible job with a tiny curling iron. My daughter specifically told her what she wanted and the lady refused and did what she wanted anyway. My daughter had to re-wash her hair to get the terrible "Shirley temple" curls out. It was a huge waste of time and money and a terrible experience. The thing that is crazy is that there was an older woman with an appointment at the same time and they gave her the same Shirley temple tight curl hairdo. My mom said she also looked ridiculous

Before leaving for the appointment a severe thunderstorm hit with flooding and I called to let them know we would be arriving in 5 minutes. We left the hotel with flooded streets to get to this appointment only to find out when we arrived that there was not time to wash our hair but only dry it. Apparently there is only one stylist that could wash hair at the time. They attempted and were able to straighten my daughter's very curly hair without washing it or getting it wet even though I explained that they could wash it and put product in. That would make it go faster, easier, and smoother. It took over an hour and it would have taken half the time if they would have washed it and used product. I declined my appointment as they had only time to dry mine and I had chlorine in my hair. I sat for the hour watching my daughter's hair be styled while the salon stayed pretty empty although they had or they said they had back-to-back appointments. They started calling clients that were late and showed up late but by then the storm had already passed. Not sure why those clients were late but they also made time to wash their hair and I noticed there were two stylists washing hair. We left the salon with my daughter's hair straight but the stress of me going back to my hotel to wash and style my hair in a limited amount of time. While checking out I communicated to the front desk and to the other stylist everything that had transpired and everything that I am served. I went to pay for my daughter's blowout and they ended up giving us the blowout without a charge. I did leave a tip but I would have rather had my hair washed and blown out and paid the full amount. This kind of service is unacceptable.

I've Been here before and they are super cheap when it comes to applying product. Which is funny…read morebecause don't you wanna get enough product in your clients hair to advertise it so it can be bought? I don't know it seems like maybe the owner needs to take a marketing management classes on how hair business runs. Unbelievable never have been somewhere so cheap at this point just run the hair salon in ur basement if you can't afford putting enough product in ur clients hair for best results. I was NOT satisfied and didn't get what I asked for I think it's because of the LACK of product applied. I mean I can tell even by reading the review that the owner is a cheapskate and has poor communication skills instead of focusing on customer satisfaction. Maybe then you'd learn that underwhelming service and poor communication don't exactly scream "luxury salon." Reading the owner's responses to reviews alone tells you all you need to know: passive-aggressive, unprofessional, and clearly allergic to accountability. Sad to say, but this place really is for people who think half a pump of mousse is a flex. Unbelievable.
