I had faith in Ina representing me in my custody case and I was extremely disappointed. Not only…read moredid my case go no where when I hired a different attorney to take over where she left off, we were placed back in the exact spot she started in- she made zero change or movement. She was never prepared for court and on numerous occasions, she had information incorrect. Not only am I dissatisfied in her representation, she charged me over $850 dollars worth of fees in communication exchanges that were made PRIOR to her being retained as my attorney. Additionally, she charged fees for reviewing attachments that were never sent on multiple dates. She charged me fees for contacting me asking me information that she already had or that was irrelevant (court dates, email address, demographic information, etc). She charged me for a conversation where she discussed other custody cases with me and their outcomes. She discussed how she has done representation for free and how excellent she is as an attorney. Which I should've known as a red flag. After advising her that that the invoice was incorrect, she continued to charge interest and refuses to acknowledge that her daughter and hers are wrong regarding the billing on the invoice. Her daughter does her billing for her. I would reconsider using her for any child custody case. She has a bad reputation and is not well liked by other attorneys and court personnel to mediate and come to agreements involving court matters. Professional collaboration is important to an extent.

Working with Ina R. O'Briant was one of the best decisions I have ever made. From the moment I met…read moreher, she believed in my innocence when I was falsely accused and she never wavered in that belief. Where others might have doubted or backed away, Ina's compassion, professionalism, and determination stood out. She listened carefully to every detail, thoroughly examined the evidence, and created a defense strategy that was both powerful and effective. Ina fought tirelessly for me inside and outside of the courtroom. She challenged every false claim, never allowed intimidation to break her focus, and showed the court why justice was on my side. Against overwhelming odds, Ina secured a dismissal with prejudice. That outcome not only cleared my name completely, it gave me my life back and restored my dignity. What sets Ina apart is that she is more than just a lawyer, she is a true advocate. She communicates clearly, responds promptly, and makes you feel like your case is her personal mission. She is trustworthy, reliable, and deeply cares about the people she represents. I will always be grateful for her strength, her knowledge, and her relentless pursuit of justice. If you are looking for an attorney who will stand up for you no matter the challenges, who will believe in you when no one else does, and who has the skill to deliver results, Ina R. O'Briant is the lawyer you need on your side.
