Not a whole lot to tell or rave about here. Don't be surprised if you plan a trip and the entrance is closed to cars. I've seen it closed off quite a bit so have a back-up plan. The parking lot is small and can probably park about six cars. There's a porta potty there and that's about it. There's only one trail and it's less than a mile round trip. It starts off with a pretty big descent which is great but, keep in mind, you have to climb it to return to the parking lot!
The entire path is well shaded and your ears will enjoy the sound of flowing water from the Cuyahoga River. When you make it to the river, you'll agree it's quite beautiful. It's great for skipping rocks if that's something you can do. I can't but I enjoy watching my boyfriend do it. It's very tranquil down there and you'll most likely see other hikers on the other side of the river. If you do, they are, most likely, on one of the trails from Cascade.
