More than just a slide and swings, there is some variety in the available activities for the kiddos, including a standup seesaw, and a little boat hammock. And something I'd never seen, a swing with a seat for a baby/toddler and a larger person to sit facing each other - cool. The trees seem trimmed and maintained, as well as a fresh looking batch of mulch along the ground. Nice place to have fun with the kids.

I wanted to wait at least a month before giving The Natatorium a review. I have worked out over 25…read moretimes at this facility since I joined in the middle of December. So, I have been a member of many gyms over my lifetime. I use to live in LA and have been a member at high end gyms all the way to your middle of the road. The same goes for here in NE Ohio. I will honestly say I am very happy with The Natatorium. The customer service I have received has been great, the gym and locker room has always been clean, the equipment has always been functioning properly and the people have been pretty cool making it a great environment to get a good workout in. I really love the fact that this facility has a wide array of machines, free weights, Hammer Strength equipment, basketball and racquetball courts. I also love that there are many stations where you can squat and also a place to deadlift which I have found in the past has been frowned upon in some gyms. Another plus is the fact this facility has an upstairs with tons of cardio equipment, an ab area and a track that you can choose to walk or run. Just pay attention to the lane that you are suppose to be in and the direction it changes daily. I almost forgot about the steam room and the pool area if you want to take a dip or swim some laps. When your workout is done you can buy some smoothies, sandwiches, coffee and açaí bowls at Sandy Bottom Bowls. I have purchased a few items and they have been pretty darn good. My favorite is the PB@A Bowl. Make sure you get one of the cards and get it stamped at every purchase. I believe after 10 items you get a free bowl. So far I am very happy with The Natatorium and look forward to many more epic workouts. Thanks!

I am not sure I've ever said that in a review. But I've now been here pre-covid and post. And I still feel this place needs a new cleaning crew, maybe a long weekend to sanitize every surface. My background is in nursing and public health, and I was just appalled at how gross the toys and structures were. I don't mind letting my child play at indoor facilities - it's nothing I have a "rule" against. But after finding layers of visible dirt/grime on almost everything we saw during our December visit, I was disgusted. Then that water table someone else mentioned... it's had this horrible rotting odor for years. I couldn't believe it's still there. But it is, still giving off an offensive stench that's pretty noticeable several yards away. There is a costume area with a stage, and the costumes have seen much better days. I cringed every time my son put on a hat or helmet - every toy/material here had some type of a smell and I wondered if anyone has ever put the costumes in a machine washer or wiped down the helmets? I was pretty surprised I didn't see any staff walking around, perhaps wiping surfaces or helping direct the masses of excited children. It was only $5 to get in, but I'm not sure why they can't charge a few dollars more and make the museum a clean, safer place for children. In December, covid, flu, and RSV were pretty prevalent in our area and I was nauseous thinking what we could have brought home with all of the disgusting things my son touched. I wish I could say we'd be back, especially as my son loves it, but this place is always a hard pass in my book.

However, I couldn't give this place a 5 star review because they are not pet friendly. Also, I realize that (sadly) someone was in a head-on collision this winter and crashed into the beautiful pine trees that used to offer privacy next to the tennis courts. At the most, two trees were damaged but they decided to cut down all of them and it just looks like sh*t now. As for Campbell's Lodge, it's okay.... for Stow residents it's only $75.00 to rent so you can't beat that! And I'll admit, the pics on their site make the interior of the building look like American cheese exploded on every wall (it's not that bad in person, trust me). But if you're looking for a more higher-end facility then this probably wouldn't meet your standards. Otherwise, it's a cute little place in an over crowded city...great for a date or just to clear your mind. :)

All dogs we have met have been nice and ready to make new friends. There is lots of room to run. :) 2) The humans are just as nice as the dogs who visit. In fact, there is a nice community of humans who visit, so most of the time the humans have a chance to socialize as well as their dog counterparts. Everyone seems to be willingly to pitch in to take care of the park as well, with some bringing water for the bowls and more baggies for cleanup. 3) It's a lot quieter than Stow's Bow Wow Beach. Not going to lie, Bow Wow Beach is our favorite playground, but in the winter it's closed and a lot of the time there's so much going on there it's a little overwhelming. Keyser is nice, I never seen more than 5 dogs there at one time. Would HIGHLY recommend to new owners trying out the off leash dog playgrounds. It's a nice baby step for both human owners and dogs. *only note: while there are no hours for the dog park there are no lights on the premise.

Trail markers , paved trails, even a bi monthly quaterly magazine, listing all sorts of events. This was my first visit to an Ohio park to explore, and will defintly check out other locations in the near future. The vistor center staff were friendly ; the center itself was marvelous with variety of things to explore,the tree exhibit, the bird feeding area, kids area , turtles and the akorn gift shop. The gift shop shaped in a Maple leaf, in my opinion was genuis , simple addition to center for kids and nature lovers. Fall will be approaching soon; be sure to hike and enjoy the beauty of nature with exercise and fresh air.
