The reason why this place doesn't have many reviews is because it is a local eatery frequented by French workers in the area. If you go at 1pm on a Tuesday, it will be completely jam packed with french people during their lunch break and a line almost out the door. No tourists here as it is a little out of the ways of the usual Parisian tourist sites. It's a chipotle style restaurant, in that you go down a line and tell several people what you'd like, appetizer, main dish, dessert, drinks, and anything else. At the end, you get a tray and find a seat. Don't expect a clear menu- you have to just kinda pick and choose what you want or order a bo bun.
Also, another thing. Yelp says this place is Thai but it's really Thai/Vietnamese... which is really weird and I usually don't like going to places that have an asian fusion because Thai and Vietnamese cuisine are so different...
Anyways, onto the food. I had a red curry chicken (thai) with fried rice (weird) and a side of nems (viet) and a raspberry-apple drink. The curry lacked flavor and I was a bit disappointed to be honest. The fried rice was a strange contraction that had very little authenticity. Nothing tasted bad, but nothing tasted good.
My friend had a pork dish that was pretty good actually, but still. Not great.
I'd consider going back, but for "fast food" it wasn't cheap either! Dropping 12 euros for fast food? No thanks! My friend's meal was 15 euros and included the yummy thai coconut mango sticky rice dish. It was delish. The dessert is currently the only thing giving this place 3 stars! read more
