I do wear a hat because of all the freckles but sunscreen I am guilty of not wearing. I refuse to stop going to the beach and getting my vitamin D. At Miami slim body they also do lipo laser which I am considering for my problem areas that exercise will not vanish these spots. I was shown a book of before and after stomachs and butts. Now, this really interests me in the back end but how much treatment would I need to remove 2 inches at least? Of course, they cannot predict how one's body will respond. Also, you will spend at least 200.00 to reduce these spots which include in this package 9 treatments for cavitation. Actually, prices vary according to what you want to do. Lipo laser is less money. There is even another treatment, my head is spinning with all this information. In the parking lot, I met a woman who has been going to this spa for 3 years and said the cavitation works. She was a very beautiful woman and really fit, I honestly didn't see why she would need any work done. Perhaps after three years of work she reached her goal. In the booklet, I saw how men can reduce their man boobs and tummy without really working out or surgery. This must be all the estrogen in the chicken we eat that is causing bigger boobs in men, children, and women. It all seems too good to be true that one can spot reduce so easily. Maybe it's because everyone in the waiting room had way too much cosmetic surgery or maybe it was the overwhelming scent of fruity Bath & Body Works spray in the air which caused my nose to run & had me feeling very allergified (my word, & i'm sticking to it). I dunno but SO glad I stayed. My aesthetician, Ricardo, had been recommended by a friend. He was SO sweet & listened to exactly what I wanted & took the time to explain what he was doing & let me know that I could always come back for touch ups. Here's the best part: while my usual spot, Laser Away on Miracle Mile is fine, they require you to purchase a minimum of $800 worth of units which you then use up as you go. Turns out to be a good deal in the end, but I use very little units at a time & only go once or twice a year & I don't always have $$$ handy for a quick touch up. Vizage either offers a $399 package with unlimited free touchups OR what I did, just pay by unit. Definitely worked out for me & I am VERY happy with my result (& with the saved $ during the holidays!). I also had 3 microdermabrasion facials (there were on special at the time) and "Jina" was phenomenal. Overall I am VERY pleased with ALL of my results. They seem to have very good equipment and well-trained specialists. What makes this place terrible is their customer service. They change their employees like people change their underwear. During the year+ I was there they replaced the manager 3 times and I lost count on how many front desk clerks they went through. This is very frustrating for clients because the staff never knows who we are, our history, and/or what we've discussed with previous members. They also changed technicians a lot so I was never able to schedule an appt with a specific tech I liked. This was also frustrating because I didn't get the same type of treatment each time. Right before my last session I received a call from Pascual's corporate office (in Aventura) and- in their attempt to keep me as a customer- I was offered a 6-treatment package for $360 or single treatments for $80. I told the lady I would think about it. When I went in (to South Miami) for my appt I discussed the offer with the manager and tech at that time. The receptionist looked me up in the computer and showed them the offer I was given by corporate. Both of them said that my results were so good it really wasn't necessary for me to get the package. We all agreed that it was a better deal to pay the $80 per session because I would only need 1 or 2 per year. FAST FORWARD I called back TODAY to make an appt at the price I was quoted and the receptionist (a new one, of course) understood the offer differently and said I would have to pay $200 for one treatment for one small area. I called corporate to see if they could help figure things out and the lady told me I'm not in their system because I've never been to the Aventura location. Uhhh...Isn't this the CORPORATE office?? It shouldn't matter if you were located in Hooker, Oklahoma EVERY client's files/account should be accessible at the CORPORATE office. And this is the SAME office where I received the call from when I was offered that deal. The lady said she didn't know what to tell me. Well I know what to tell PASCUAL MD: You just lost a customer.
