I could tell the girl was only capable of doing the most basic trim. The other lady that was in there did not say a word to us or even acknowledge we were there.. it was somewhat awkward to be honest. We were in and out in less than 10 minutes and that included my daughter getting her hair washed. Definitely a trim that I could have done at home myself.

Think about it before you answer. Someone rushing you through your hair not looking if it's even. Not caring about your ear hair or how long your neck hair is. Someone not talking to you about anything or even asking how you are(that takes time) they literally check you in and hope you don't talk and hope you have long legs to get back to the chair then hope you don't need to explain that you want something new or different. They hope you haven't had a bad day so there day isn't worse. They haven't had a break all day. They haven't done anything but cater to everyone that has come through the door only to be told that they are tipped employees and they only get $10 an hour all the while the company charges over $15 a cut. So they want the employees to make $60 an hour. Theses usually 3-4 people working. Do the math. Great clips in sterling Illinois is to be avoided!!

I thought it was a garage…read moresale outside, since I am a city slicker passing through - Turns out this place has tanning, consignment on clothing, coffee/bakery, salon and nails all in one large home. I checked out the gently used clothing they had and seen they have a lot of name brands like abercrombie* the gap, coach purses.... I tried the coffee and think the girl could've did a better job at making my mocha latte, because it was too sugary, but there was a lot of flavors from peanut butter to peppermint. Other than that, I tried a pastry which was a botterscotch chex mix, very sweet and delicious. I spend my summers at a nearby town, so I def want to check out their services on nails - it will be closer than driving all the way to chicago.
