I often see RMTs to try and help with the pain, and it's not often that I find one that I really think is worth recommending. I've probably seen over a dozen different RMTs in Toronto, and there aren't that many I'd go to twice. I've been seeing Ivan Tam for a few sessions now and I think he does great work. He really gets into the problem areas with incredible technique, and I feel very refreshed after seeing him. He also gives tips on how to help with preventative measures (stretches, etc). The prices at Nexus are also very reasonable, and they do direct billing with my insurance provider (sunlife) which is a bonus.

And then they say we will give you the receipt and you can reimburse it. But course I don't travel with my Wallet for a massage it's either Apple Pay which wasn't there or the fact that they would process payment as usual on their end. How would I pay for it if I wasn't told before hand to bring my card since "front desk is away" and when I asked will they be back the answer was " I'm not sure" this is hilarious it's a joke of a massage company. I had not expected this from nexus I was blown away by the unprofessionalism. And I am a returning customer of 2 years now. I will talk about this everywhere I can.

Make sure to always stretch and exercise though, that is also super important, don't expect that just by getting massage everything will go away, it will still get better though. All the therapists so far were great, Chiho, George, Don, these are the ones I can speak for, but I heard from my wife that the other girl is also good, I believe her name is Julia. As soon as you walk in the door, past the stairs, you just feel this relaxing atmosphere. The place is clean, staff is friendly and they have a new easy online booking system, but space is limited so being on time is important. I once missed my appointment and had to reschedule, but staff were still extremely helpful and arranged another one for me on that same day. You won't find better customer service than Japanese customer service, it is top notch anywhere you go, and this place is no different.

The massages are nothing short of miraculous and provide complete relief and what I call my "reset" . I work long hours carrying a heavy camera on Toronto film sets . Therapists at TSC will do traditional Shiatsu and also Acupuncture .They also use "moxibustion" and now have added a very interesting Japanese oil massage. Some of the therapists are RMT or have the acupuncture certification. The therapist I see most often (when she is available) is Chiho Yamaguchi . Thanks to TSC. I think that Japanese shiatsu adds a few years on to our lives. I have probably sent over 50 people through the years and I have always heard high praise .

She asks detailed questions to help get a better understanding of how she can better help you and he can adjust her routine to suit your massage needs. I always feel nice and relaxed after a session with her. She lets me know what exercise I can do at home to further help my back issues. Her massage room is such a comfortable room - mood music, pillows, even an eye mask to fully relax. Currently she only works 2 days a week and she has another RMT there to cover the rest of the days (I have never used the other RMT so I can't comment on that, however if Sophi picked her then I know she must be good). The clinic is close to Yonge and St Clair subway station. The room is comfortable and peaceful. Booking was easy via email, although given her availability I've often booked several visits in advance so that I can get my preferred times/dates. Billing is straightforward with credit cards accepted, emailed/online invoices are easy to submit for employee benefits. Sophi has superb customer service skills, and will provide options for future availability if your first choice date isn't available. Like other clinics, you should expect to pay for the booked service if you cancel within 24 hours. It is well worth planning ahead to book an RMT appointment at Spring Wellness!

I was looking for a last minute place to have a massage to use up the rest of my benefits this year and stumbled upon Amaze Wellness. After reading the reviews I decided to give them a try. Appointments can be booked online and you will need a credit card to confirm your reservation. I opted for a 75min deep tissue massage. Day of massage, I was a bit skeptical at first due to the storefront of the massage place. They are located on the 2nd floor where you do have to take off your shoes upon entering. Never judge a book by its cover because as soon as I entered I was greeted by Nitchapatr who ushered me into a massage room. She gave me some hand sanitizer to use and left me alone to change out of my clothes. During the full body deep tissue massage Nitchapatr worked on some deep knots I had in my shoulder the most. She made sure that I was comfortable with the pressure throughout but knew that I was feeling some pain from my shoulder knots. She even offered to put Tiger Balm on me to make sure I was more comfortable. After the massage I quickly put back on my clothes and went out to pay. I was offered some Thai tea. Nitchapatr and I made small talk and she commented that I should likely come back for more treatments as my shoulder knots were quite deep. My body definitely felt the effects of the deep tissue massage. I felt tired afterwards but did feel great and had a good night of rest. Overall, great massage place, they definitely know their stuff and will treat whatever pain you are experiencing. Service was friendly and I did see that before and after my massage there were other people receiving services as well.
