I have had some wonderful experiences over the past several months at J Nicolle!…read more 1) A couple haircuts with Leslie which were always enjoyable experiences resulting in the cut and style requested. 2) a cezanne express smoothing treatment (think Brazilian blowout without formaldehyde) with Jessie. It's slightly less expensive than a Brazilian blowout, but so far I am just as happy with the results! Plus, Jessie was great to talk to and performed the service well and with attention to detail. 3) BRIDAL BEAUTY! I worked with Cara and Shanaia as my bridal beauty coordinators and they were so wonderful and helpful. Jennifer (who is also the owner) did my makeup trial and wedding day makeup. She took detailed notes after the trial to reference on the wedding day but was also flexible enough to change her plans based on my requests. It turns out that the lip color I wanted did not exist on its own so she mixed it for me! So nice! I ended up doing a bridal hair trial with 2 stylists in order to get the style I was seeking (the salon was very accommodating regarding this request). My second trial was with Ann who has been at the salon for 1-2 years and is TALENTED! My trial was beautiful and the day-of was even more stunning. She created beautiful styles for my mom and 2 of the bridesmaids. She was efficient too! The other hair stylist was very nice and created simpler styles for the other bridesmaids that lasted throughout the day and night. I highly recommend doing the trials and being honest with the salon about what you like and what you want to change. 4) finally, I realized post wedding that I wanted to pay with some gift cards but had forgotten in the craziness of the day. I emailed Shanaia while I was in the airport traveling to my honeymoon and she instantly assured me that we would adjust the transaction upon my return. Overall, J Nicolle is a beautiful salon (love the decor!) with a friendly, considerate, and talented team led by a wonderful owner.
