    Good, quiet gas station if you're in the city and need to stop for gas. Safe no need to worry if you need gas at midnight.

    This Clark gas station is location is new which just opened Nov 2021. There were two previous gas…read morebrand before that which ended their term on this corner of 26th and canal street. This location is great for gas as it is very convenient to get a quick fill-up as I like to do. Prices are average for being in Chicago with not many pumps but does the job. I do recommend this as a super convenient gas stop and soon to have Illinois Lottery services.

When the digital screen asks, if you want a receipt yes/no, there again there are no yes/no buttons to press. However, what is most aggravating is that the auto stop at least on pump #4 does not work. I love the little sign above the pump about not topping off because fuel gets wasted, and just let the pump stop automatically. Okay then why the hell does it just keep pumping? All the sudden there's a heavy gas smell and the fuel is shooting, (I kid you not) out off the car, onto to side of the car, on the ground and my shoes. Real nice, note sarcasm here, nothing like gasoline soaked shoes. What really surprised me is when I walked in to tell the guy, he didn't seem concerned, which to me says it's been broken for a while. When I inquired about the missing icons on the pad, he made some mention to getting around to changing the digital program asking you to press yes/no when there is no fricken yes/no to press. This is a place to stop for gas only if you've been driving around with your gas light on for a day.

    DON'T LOSE YOUR RECEIPT!! Apparently they have no way to ever reproduce them again, so should you…read moreever need warranty work on what they've done to your vehicle, you'll be up a creek with no paddles! Great mechanic [Sam], he diagnosed the issue quickly and thoroughly repaired my vehicle in an exceptionally timely manner. Their front office/accounting was a nightmare though! Caroline in their front office promised to fax me a copy of my receipt after my bill was paid. I was out of town and had to wire cash to a friend in Chicago to go pay the bill for me because this place would not allow me to pay over the phone with my credit card; I wired money to pay this unseen invoice, a friend took the money to them and paid the unseen invoice, then the next day she never faxed the invoice! When I called two weeks later to ask where the receipt was, I got the runaround. Caroline suggested I just get the receipt from the person who came and paid. He called her to explain that was not an option, and asked why she didn't just fax the receipt to me as she'd originally promised. She told him they don't even have a fax machine, that she'd have had to go to Kinko's to send the fax. Then we asked if she could reprint a copy of my receipt so that I could send someone local to pick that up for me (since I am still out of state). She said, "NO", that it was too late now because all the prior month's records were gone to accounting -- she no longer had access to them. Oddly, the Better Business Bureau website lists them as having a fax number [773-667-7358] which I called -- and it seems to work just fine! Had I known they were never going to fax me the documents as they'd originally promised, I' would have had the person who went to pay for me in the first place guard that receipt with his life --- now how the heck am I supposed to ever have proof of warranty for my service or document this expense on my business taxes? RIDICULOUS!

Over the years I've found the prices to be fair and reasonable when you weigh the cost of taking your car into a dealership or taking on a 3 to 6 year car note.
