Unfortunately, I am having the same frustrating experience as Ely M. with their cancellation policy. This is a business that intentionally makes it very difficult to cancel and the process is such that it's entirely within their control. Per the policy on the website, it says to inform the front desk of cancellation at least 15 days in advance. I did that and was told nothing further was needed. The next month, I was still charged and when I disputed it, the school said they have no record of it. But whether the front desk documents the cancellation is out of the customer's control. If their policy is for us to tell the front desk and the front desk takes no further action, you're stuck. When cancelling, make sure to send an email to document even though their policy does not require it. And note that the policies shown on the website is not exactly the same as ones you sign, so that's also confusing. When I pointed that out to the manager, she said "she doesn't really look at the website," which ignores the fact that customers do and if they do not expect customers to rely on the policies on the website, why do they have them posted?

I cannot say enough good things about the French Conservatory - and am truly remiss for not having…read moreposted a review sooner. My 11-year-old son has been attending the conservatory for the last year and a half and has grown so much as a musician. He attended another conservatory prior and was stuck in a bit of a rut. We were lucky to have stumbled on the FC after an appointment nearby. We popped in unannounced and the Director, Skander Ladjimi, was so welcoming and supportive. We weren't exactly sure of what our son needed, but we knew he wasn't improving after a year at the other conservatory. Skander hooked us up with Hannah Ureste, an amazing trumpet player, and teacher. When I tell you my son's grown - it's been exponential. He went from a kid who played trumpet to a budding musician. Hannah's been an absolute godsend. A few months ago our son started taking music theory with John Jihanyan and that has been an amazing experience for him. It's all coming together, and we have Skander and the teachers at the French Conservatory to thank. What I think is so special about the conservatory is the family feel you get. Skander's wife makes amazing baked goods and is just extremely thoughtful. It's a pleasure to be in such a kind, supportive community. One of the things I also think is special about the conservatory is the yearly exam the students take. Judges come from the FC in Paris, and their commentary is extremely helpful for the students. We intend to continue at the French Conservatory and hope that our son continues to advance, ultimately receiving his Diploma of Musical Studies.

My daughter started learning the flute here a little over a year ago and loves it too. The teachers are patient, professional, and genuinely care about helping their students grow. Highly recommend Beverly Hills Conservatory for any family looking for a supportive and motivating music school.

Now that my oldest is in preschool, my heart aches at having to step away from this beautiful program. Over the years, we've taken music classes, met the most magical musical educators, joined sensory and art classes with truly fabulous teachers, celebrated both in-studio and at-home birthday parties, and spent countless afternoons at concerts in the park. When a friend first told me about these classes three years ago--about this amazing music class in a Santa Monica park with Mr. Bradley--I had no idea how deeply LoveBug and Mr. Bradley would become woven into our lives. My kids walk around the house clutching their stuffed LoveBug, yelling "oh LoveBug!" and can't fall asleep without him. We sing the songs, do the dances, and have created so many core memories I'll treasure forever. If you're even considering signing up for LoveBug & Me, don't hesitate--join. Your kids will thank you.

I found Val online and we feel so incredibly blessed that we did. Val consistently provides a high quality education due to his incredible musical talent and a natural ability to understand and communicate with students of various ages and backgrounds. For example, he knew that air high fives, Avengers discussions, and "cool haircut" compliments were very important to initially spark our 5 year old's interest and attention. Over time, our son continued to look forward to each lesson, and Val continued to see and bring out our son's musical potential. Val challenges and motivates him in such a way that by 6 years old our son was recently able to perform at his first piano recital... a feat we honestly did not think would happen so soon. Seeing the success Val was having with our son inspired me to go back to taking piano lessons as well! I used to play when I was younger, and have performed in recitals - but sadly, as I got older, I always fell into the category of "I never have time anymore." Val helped me to see that it is NEVER too late to start (or in my case, RETURN!). My lessons with Val are now geared toward learning particular pieces that I've always wanted to learn but never found the time to practice (ie now practicing expressive Bach and Chopin pieces)... and eventually I will want to learn some of my favorite 80's songs from Chicago and Billy Joel (I am actually super excited about that LOL). Val helped me to rediscover the musical talent I always had, and most especially find the ME-TIME I needed to just relax, sit, and play. We know firsthand that along with hard work, daily practice, and patience, Val is more than qualified and capable of guiding you in bringing out your best self - which transpires to living your best life. He is hands down a true teacher in every sense of the word. Highly recommended (times 8,000 - as my son would say :) THANK YOU VALERY!

We street parallel parked up front, they only have street parking on busy Westwood which is not convenient for me. The space where parents and kids sit is the size of a room, so it is very small. The class is only 40 minutes and it took my son 20 minutes to warm up since it was all new to him. He started dancing after that to them singing and started grabbing instruments and stuffed animals. This is a nice concept to introduce young ones to musical instruments, all toddlers were around the same age. A couple of toddlers had both parents there. My husband liked the class more than I did. You have to be very hands on. Would I go back? I would just send my husband and toddler back!
