After a great BC Pizza order in St. Ignace we decided to try Gaylord location. It took 2 hours for small pizza order. Showed up 1 hour after order placed as directed. Upon arrival they said they need 30 minutes more. At 90 minutes it was still not ready. At 2 hours it was finally ready. Got it home and toppings were wrong‍. Pizza crust tasted like a frozen and baked crust and very garlicky. Didn't order a flavored crust. Crew working was so unprofessional and unorganized. read more

BC Pizza has a chain of restaurants throughout northern Michigan. I have enjoyed both the Traverse City and St. Igneous locations but I do not recommend this location in Gaylord. The carry out experience is terrible. Waiting out back to pickup pizza from a back door doesn't give you a good feeling about any pizza. read more

Meh. Despite their claim of being 'hometown, handmade, and gourmet', B.C. Pizza is just a mediocre and over-priced fast food pizza joint. Ordered two pizzas (one small, one medium) and a small order of hot wings - cost: $35; wait: one hour. Upon arrival to pick up the order (~8:30 PM), the restaurant was already closed and locked, despite their advertised hours of 11:00am-midnight. Surprisingly, there were no alternative instructions for obtaining pick up orders provided anywhere - not on the building, not on the website, not even by the clerk when calling in the order. Only after circling the building did we notice the fast food style "carry out" window located in the dimly lit alley between it and the adjacent business. Adding insult to injury, we ended up waiting in line behind another customer for an additional 20 minutes. All this for average at best pizza and low quality and barely sauced hot wings. Considering the price, wait time, bizarre pick-up experience, and underwhelming food, I wish we'd have just gone to Jet's. read more

Here for Big Ticket Festival this weekend and was looking for a pizza place for lunch. When I came across BC Pizza I was excited to see that they have a buffet AND that I could order a gluten free pizza for me to eat! The buffet was impressive with a large salad bar and many pizza and breadstick options. And my gluten free pizza was amazing!! Best that I have ever had in my 8 years of eating gluten free. The crust was not like cardboard, it was soft and very pizza like! We will be back next time we are in the area!! Never stopped at a BC Pizza before because they are only located in Northern Michigan. On a recent trip up to the cabin we decided to give it a try. They had a very diverse menu. They have gluten free and keto options which was pretty cool. We ordered a simple pizza and breadsticks. The whole family enjoyed the entire meal. The bread is fluffy and freshly baked. No frozen dough here. The pepperoni and cheese were both strong as compared to more bland national chains. I would recommend stopping by a BC Pizza for a different yet flavorful pizza night! read more

Seriously DO NOT DO IT - the bread sticks with cheese was so messed up - they had cheese that was a big chunk on top of bread sticks, didn't even stick to the bread sticks. The salad had tomatoes that where rotten. We specifically asked them to bring more forks for the salad since there was two of us, and they only brought one for. Wasn't a big thing, but even the deliver guy left a bad taste in my mouth. He said "how much change do you want" just expecting we give him a big tip. What a disappointment! We went in tonight at ordered 2 pizzas and 2 orders of bread sticks the girl said 25 minute wait. After almost 45 minutes i went up to the counter to check on our order because no one came to our table They said they had the pizza but no bread sticks. I watched the kitchen staff. The back staff looked like they had no direction and were standing around. They had a crowd of hungry people by the time we got our bread sticks! Finally after over an hour of waiting we were able dine in. I think if they just do the orders as they came in they wouldn't have so many hungry people waiting around. Other people were waiting for the buffet to fill again it had one old looking pizza when we got there. Just just before we left did it get filled. I think what really ticked me off was they charged me a fee for using a debit card but no where was it posted that they did that. So dishonest! read more

I was going to really complain but I can't blame the employees for the bad experience....the management has issues. Luckily we didn't get the buffet but a couple at the table next to me did. 10 minutes after they started eating the buffet pizza was gone, when the customer asked if they were going to refill the buffet the cashier said "we are really busy (they weren't) and its going to take awhile". He just stood there in disbelief and left. Our order took over 45 minutes (There were less than 8 people in the restaurant) and when the food came it wasn't all of our order. The server told me that our salad wasn't on the ticket even though I had to tell the cashier 3 times what I wanted.....but they brought out French dressing? The food was good but the experience wasnt, why would management decide to train new people on a Friday night....especially when they proclaim to be "real busy"?
