I asked to speak to Stephen Winn, the branch manager and he could not have been kinder or more helpful in sorting out the problem and subsequently putting it right. I came away feeling that there are some decent people left in the world, but moreover this man believed in me and did not question for one moment my integrity. I would highly recommend this store whilst he is manager. Martina White, Ford, West Sussex

There is a large area at the back of the store, related to gardening, such as plants, hanging baskets, trellis etc. We bought our bathroom from here, and were quite impressed with the help we received re planning and ordering of items. There is plenty of parking and the checkouts are usually well manned.

I always buy any screw, nails , brushes here and they do a resonable selection of bulbs batteries - basically everything hardware. There are cheap childrens toys as well as a lot of cleaning sprays, household breakables are very cheap - glasses, mugs etc. There is also a large area set aside for garden maintainance. The store is not asthetically great - a little dusty and shabby, but it is well worth a visit to top up your tool kit and its nice to browse in.

B&Q Sofa Delivery - Deeply Disappointed We purchased a sofa based on a strong recommendation and…read moreexpected reliable service from B&Q. Sadly, the delivery experience has been appalling. After receiving an email confirming delivery on the 17th, followed by one instructing us to have £40 in cash ready for the driver, my husband left work to ensure someone was home. Then we received a call from a courier saying the driver wouldn't reach us due to too many deliveries. He promised to call back--he never did. We waited until 11pm with no update and no sofa. We'd already given away our old one that morning, trusting the new would arrive. I've had to take another day off work just in case it comes today. Calls to customer service were cut off twice. No support. No accountability. Just stress and silence. We feel ignored, let down, and frankly shocked by the treatment received. I'm escalating this complaint and urging others to think twice before ordering from B&Q. Customers should never feel this unimportant.
