To be fair they limit the time so this should not be a problem but even so the traffic to get out can be a nightmare. This is a huge superstore where you can find everything you expect from a B&Q. They also have a garden centre and they usually have a good number of plants on offer at a greatly reduced price - for instance we recently bought some flowers for our front garden for winter - The pansys were full price at £3.99 but we also picked up a few dead trays for 50p (24 plants) - now these are planted some are still flowering. There's not a great deal in the same location so if you come don't expect to be on a retail park with other places to visit.

The store has a garden centre as well as a wide range of furniture, soft furnishings and lighting and pretty much everything you need to do your DIY! The store is good value and does its own range of products as well as branded ones. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable (one was only too happy to carry my purchase to the checkout as I couldn't manage it), although some of the staff on the checkouts could learn better manners!

Large kids toys / crafting / businessy area too, with masses of games, paper, card, stickers, notebooks, bubble wrap, padded envelopes, normal envelopes, protactors, rulers, pens pencils Bargains galore to be had here!

Seasonally they have decorations, plants, garden furniture, electrical like kettles and toaster and all sorts. I recently purchased a great set of bike lights for about a tenner. I'd say their prices are very competitive. The shop is well laid out and it's always really busy. There are tills at the front and back entrances. you do have to queue up but normally they serve you quickly. Customer services can be a bit hit and miss but overall a useful shop in the city centre.
