The manufacturer upheld the complaint and credited 2 replacment worktops and funds for refit costs. It took months to get the 2nd worktop and i had to pay for the refit even though budget recieved the money from the manufacturers. Im having to take them to smalls claims court to get a resolve. Keep away from them if you want good service!

The level of service we have received from start to finish has been exceptional. Communication was excellent regarding the initial measuring up, to the design, to visiting the showroom to finalise plans and book in the job, to daily updates on progress and plans for the next day and being available whenever required to help accommodate changes. The guys even gave up their Saturdays and worked into the evenings some days to make sure that progress stayed on track. The entire HHI team have been hard working, polite, trustworthy, punctual, reliable, understanding, and accommodating to last minute changes. They really couldn't have done more for us and nothing was too much trouble. The selection of products and services available is vast and the level of expertise you receive is high. Every small detail has been considered and it's clear to see that the team take pride in what they do, they are all perfectionists with a passion for their trades. The quality and standard of finish is second to none and we really could not be happier with our new bedroom, en-suite bathroom and storage rooms. At dream bathrooms they have loads of different designs of baths, sinks, showers, heating appliances, taps, towel rails and toilets. Contemporary or traditional, all very shiney and posh (I think I would go for a sparkly white oval bath and some little silver soap dishes...sigh). The price is actually ridiculously high in my opinion though, with a simple circular towel rail bringing you back over £65 and some of the baths over £2000. The quality is pretty dam good though so it's dependent on your budget and how much you are willing to shell out. If you are doing up your current house or looking for bathroom bits to accommodate your new abode then give them a shout, they'd be happy to help. Just don't get carried away or you wont have any money left for food and heating!

So my recent perusal of the show room at Dream Baths was a tad nostalgic. Similar to Alexandra I have yet to own my own house and indeed long for the day when I can paint the walls any damn colour I choose and, erm...screw monkey bars into the ceiling and make one room into a ball pond! Again...I can Dream! So the notion of getting a new bathroom fitted doesn't feel particularly relevant to my current life and to be honest I'm a bit of a make do and mend type and can't imagine stripping out an entire bathroom only to buy a brand new one for thousands of pounds, but at the same time I fully understand the urge to match your home to your personal taste. The bathrooms here are top quality with many different styles from reasonably standard designs to quite unusual and stylish. The more interesting designs appear to have an 'interesting' price tag to match so are maybe best avoided if you're on a tight budget. If you're looking for a new bathroom though, you could certainly do worse than popping down to Dream Bathrooms!

Picture the scene. 7:30pm and I am locking the front door…read more I turn the key and it sticks! So what do I do? I turn the key harder. To which the whole lock gives in to my superior manliness and the key turns. Ah.. The key also keeps turning when it shouldn't! Erm.. Some how and I don't know how. The front door lock has disintegrated! Oops! I look at the time and panic. Yes, I have a big butch German Shepherd to protect me but I start work at 6am and I daren't leave the house unlocked as that would void the house insurance. I dive straight onto the Internet and find that good old B&Q are open until 9pm. So I quickly remove the old lock so I can do a size comparison (no jokes about men being concerned about size please. I just wanted to know the new one would fit in the hole! Oh please! Shush!!) and off I dash. I hate starting projects near closing time because should it all go wrong and I need more parts/advice then the store will be closed. But at least I know that it will still be open after I finish work should I need to go back. I grabs a hold of a B&Q dude when i arrive and shows him the lock that has mysteriously broken and he was able to show me one that was almost the same. So after some hammerin', chiselin', screwin' (don't start!) and plenty of good old fashioned Yorkshire swearin! The lock is replaced. Thanks for the advise and late opening hours B&Q.

Oh yes, we were quivering with anticipation, I can tell you! So, since Homebase hadn't come up trumps we decided to navigate over to B&Q to see if they fared any better. Turns out they did! We managed to find a reasonably cheap mower for £60 which does actually mow the lawn. It's nothing special, and so I have learned that when it comes to such gardening equipment you do actually get what you pay for! The hunt was a little more than frustrating, since we were wandering around for at least fifteen minutes trying to find someone to help us. Apparently asking at the paint section is fruitless since the chaps over there only know about paint. The idea that they would able to, say, check that a particular mower was in stock, is obviously a foolish notion. Nope, what kind of paint rollers they specialise in would have been the only sort of question which that autobot, *sorry*, bloke could have answered! Tsk, B&Q, tsk tsk. Bit useless. Bit annoying. Nevertheless, we left there about £100 lighter, stocked with a fair machine to refresh the lawn and a lovely wee olive tree, bay tree and lily plant. Job done!
