They not only completed our remodel they built the custom cherry fireplace mantle. We love our living room and it's exactly what we were looking for to update our home. He didn't show up for the initial appt., and rescheduled for the following week- even then he was an hour late. We discussed the repairs and he said he would email an estimate. After hearing nothing for weeks, I reached out to him and he said he would have it by the end of the week. The following week, I reached out again and finally received an estimate. From there on, I would hear NOTHING from him unless I initiated contact. Then the excuses started.. I dealt with this man for three and a half months, with him ghosting me the entire time. At no time did he ever fulfill a promise, or meet a deadline. The last straw was him AGAIN failing to provide information on the repair. That was Feb. 25, and, you guessed it, CRICKETS! I have to wonder what part of "Do It Right" applies to his business.

I would like to fully endorse Remnant Construction from Kingsport, TN…read more My 95 year old mother recently had a new shingle roof put on her house, and the quality of their work was excellent. The roof has a 45 degree pitch and meets at several places and has two chimneys. It is also three stories high. From the street, it looks wonderful. The house is also in a National Historic area, and was built in 1915 (or thereabouts), so they had to do an outstanding job to meet the standards of the area. Their customer service is also excellent. My mother had found pieces of flashing that dropped onto her back deck several months after the job was complete, and she was worried that something was wrong. Benjamin Wilburn, the owner, promptly came over, went onto the roof, and inspected everything. It turns out the pieces of flashing were unused and left over from an attached neighbor's roof, and had been left there by another contractor. It was a great relief to my mother to know everything was in good working order. She is now considering getting other work done, such as rebuilding her deck, and I am positive that Benjamin and his crew will do a fine job. If you are located near Kingsport, TN, I highly recommend this company. They will do good quality work, and are nice people. BTW, their email is remnantconstructiontenn@gmail.com.

Highly recommend!…read more The Rolando Roofing team are the real deal, and the best in their field. Their fees are reasonable and quite competitive - we'd bid it out to three different companies and this team offered the best overall value for the price, with quality materials, and then they further exceeded our expectations with excellent work and customer service. They were prompt, responsive, and they did great work, taking care of everything as if it were their home, protecting the areas and picking up all garbage, etc. - and they did it all quickly, exactly within the timeline they said they would do it. Can't say enough good things about this team. Highly recommending them to our family and friends, and if you engage them to do your roof, you'll be happy as well. They did such a great job with the roof that we're now speaking with them about doing the gutters for the house once we're ready. If you're wondering whether this is a good company, I can assure you it is. We'd found them on Yelp and we're so glad we did. Awesome team!
