A good quality little news agents in the middle of the high street. They have all your usual news…read moreagent stuff i.e ice creams, drinks sweets , chocolate, crisps, newspapers and magazines. They stock all the usual national papers and a good selection of local papers as well. Their magazine selection is quite large but not as big as the new WH Smiths that has just opened up in town or the Henderson's news agent near the town hall. I have found that their confectionery to be a little over priced with cheaper shops not far away, I.e Woolworth's or Superdrug.

Easy to find and easily accessible, this little shop is run by a very friendly and welcoming couple. The shop has recently had a bit of a facelift, so its now laid out a lot better making it easier to get around the shop, especially if you have a pram! On one side of the shop is a huge array of newspapers, magazines and stationary, and on the other side is sift drinks and confectionary. They also sell tobacco products, and have a Lottery machine too. Alwasy welcomg and chatty, the staff make sure you leave with a smile on your face!

Because Good News is situated in the heart of Soho, where all of London's hippest fashion houses, production companies and media firms are generally based, it needs to offer it's clients something different. Sure, you can get the usual paper, a juice and a bag of crisps but I've never seen so many magazines. If your looking for fashion, music, business or art, they have every single commercial, weird and underground paper and magazine you can imagine and even stock some industry mags as well like Music Week for example. Although I don't work in Soho anymore, if I pass this shop, I always stop by and pick up a magazine I know I can't get anywhere else...

This is a great little newsagents, the staff are always very polite and helpful here…read more It stocks a huge range of magazines and newspapers, aswell as sweets, chocolate, gift cards and wrapping paper. Also it has a post office to the back of the shop which is very handy indeed. In the window of this shop they have a display board with all the local bits and bobs for sale, and the local groups advertising.
