I called back later and…read moreasked for him and they refused to let me speak to him and said they would give him the info and they would call me back. After three days, no return call. I called back and told them of my experience and the lady I spoke to that day (Sharon) said she would have Frank call me back. He called and left a message for me to call back, I called back and again the lady that answered tried to refuse for me to talk to him. Finally, they put me through. Frank and I talked, great guy, very willing to help... he and I agreed I would bring my part in for him to see if he could fix it. I brought the part in and again, the lady (the manager) was being difficult that they had to have my machine etc. I told her the agreement Frank and I made (that he would try to fix that particular part and if he could I would then bring in my machine to be serviced). Then the manager told me I would have to pay a $30 deposit. Now why am I paying a deposit when they have my part... of course, I can't get the part back without paying for it. Needless to say I told her I was done with their company and would never use them again. Nothing but a manager and some staff impossible to deal with (rude etc) and asking for deposit when I clearly cannot walk out without paying once repair of part was made. The only two people I spoke to at that company that knew how to deal with customers was Sharon and Frank.

It seemed to be a locally owned business with friendly staff. I highly recommend for fabrics and they had a sewing classes while I was shopping around. The fabric was honestly higher quality than Joann at a better price. Great experience!

We…read moreordered four (only 4!) yards of fabric on February 22nd and still have yet to receive it. Four-and-a-half months later... Sure, things were closed due to the COVID pandemic but their mill has been open for over a month and we've been assured the fabric was shipped. And then that it was shipped two weeks ago... And that it WOULD BE shipped as of one week ago on June 25th. Lies and empty promises aren't good for business and I honestly don't know what the problem is. Why not just call and let us know you don't have the fabric in stock or that you're understaffed due to the pandemic... or that you've closed your doors!!! No one has bothered to call; the rep has been useless... Lack of customer service makes me look bad in the eyes of my Clients when there are thousands of other fabrics from which to choose.

Upon entering, I was greeted by the taller Amanda with longer blonde hair (there were two, and both were nice). Amanda immediately made me comfortable and walked me step by step through the mini project. I never had the 'deer in the headlights' moment when I couldn't find any help when I needed it. She explained what would happen had this been a start from scratch experience as we had a slightly expedited process. While waiting for our paint to dry, I lollygagged around the store. There is a huge calendar wall showing what classes they're offering on certain days. A few I took note of was ladies night out and a mom's morning out. They also sell T-shirt's, candles, jewelry, and even pre-made signs. Whenever my family comes in to visit, this will definitely be on our to-do list. I look forward to our next DIY.

It developed into other entities after the Etsy store. 6 years later they had enough customers and business to open a brick and mortar store. Their vision was to create a DIY and therapeutic atmosphere. They now have over 100 locations across the United States for anyone that wants to experience DIY arts and crafts. The DIY culture has been booming over the years and this was perfect business for these two. The Evans, Georgia store is owned and operated by the mother and daughter duo of Anita Barr and Brandi Collins. They are native of the city of Charlotte, North Carolina. This Evans location has been open since July and doing well. I'm never on this side of town so I wouldn't have even known this place existed until I was invited to an exclusive event here. This place was extremely easy to find, even though it was many miles from my house. It's in a perfect location and it's in a nice area of this side of town. Everything about this place is amazing!!! I love the fact that whatever you want you can do it all by yourself. It was so calming and relaxing. The owner and employees are so friendly and very helpful. I received most of my help by both Amanda's. I had a few mishaps but they both quickly ran over to correct any mistake I had. To experience this you have to pre-register for each class. They have something for the whole family to do. They have classes many days of the week. You can make almost anything involving planks of wood, cloth, and many more mediums. After this experience how can any who visits this place cannot come back and experience it again?!? This place is SO AMAZING!!! I'm in my zone whenever I'm doing something creative or working with my hands!!! I forget my worries and troubles that I'm currently facing. I can't wait for my next DIY project here!!!!
