Art's Electric installed 5 ceiling fans in my home in one day. I called them on a Friday and they…read moresent two electricians on a Monday to get the job done. They came right on time and explained exactly what they were doing. And what the charges would be. The fans were a little tricky to install because they weren't your average Walmart fans that could be assembled before putting up on the ceiling. The two guys took their time, and definitely did a great job while making sure they did everything correctly (trust me I was hovering a bit). This was definitely a job for a professional because there were many wires, some electrical work that needed to be addressed in my home, as well as the removal of one existing fan. They installed wireless remotes for all my fans and made sure that none of them would interfere with each other. I am very pleased about this because I would never have thought to make sure there was no interference and that would be disastrous! Arts Electric went the extra mile to even notice that there was a billing mistake on my invoice that I did not notice, and called me to correct it. This speaks volumes to the integrity and honesty of this company and I would definitely do business with them again. I would also like to mention that this review is a little late because I wanted to make sure that I could leave 100% positive feedback and say that my fans are going strong and that I have no problems with the installation or electric work. They also sent me a Christmas card, what great customer service!

I agreed to this and when the technician arrived, I had placed calls to the HW company and they told me that if the water heater was defective, regardless of age, they would approve a replacement. The technician, as soon as I said I wanted to file a claim began telling me lies related to the claim process. He said that the HW company would "Take 6-8 hours to approve the claim and therefore I would not be serviced until Monday, but they could replace mine tonight if I purchased from the direct". This was a LIE! I had already received confirmation that once this company submitted the information they would approve the claim within 15-30 min.

I found Sunfire Solar through Energy Sage, along with several other solar contractors that I…read morereceived quotes from. After "interviewing" Sunfire, and other contractors, I selected Sunfire for my project based in part on their positive customer reviews and pricing. Another important factor in my decision was the knowledge, hands on experience, and professionalism of Thomas Kemp. Thomas worked with me to develop a projection of monthly and annual electric use with the recent addition of two plug-in hybrid electric vehicles and a hot tub; demands not reflected in historical use data. And then Thomas worked with me on a "bundle" of home energy improvements that included replacement of the electrical service panel, purchase and installation of two high-efficiency mini-split heat pumps, and a 6.4 kw solar PV array. The bundled price was very competitive relative to quotes from other contractors. Soon after an agreement was signed Sunfire went to work on the service panel replacement and then the mini-split heat pump installation. Of note is that I was allowed to specify the brand and models of the heat pumps. Installation of the PV array was the final step and was delayed approximately two months while approval processes and permitting were completed by the electric utility and the City of Albuquerque. The array was energized two weeks ago and to date it has performed exactly as projected in terms of peak output and daily yield. Based on what I see so far I'm confident the annual projected yield will be realized and will meet 95-100% of our household electrical use, including that of the two PHEVs. And finally, all of the individuals I interacted with through the duration of the project were responsive, easy-going, and professional. This included the assigned project manager, other office personnel, the electrician, HVAC guy, and others involved in the installation of the PV array. Overall I had a great experience with Sunfire Solar and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

I like to think of myself as a pretty handy guy (not handsy mind you), but I know my limits. I'm…read morenot that afraid of dying, but I am afraid of dying stupidly. So when it came time to completely upgrade/relocate/rewire the main breaker box and many electricals throughout the house, my family and I looked for a professional. We'd much rather pay someone else to risk electrocution. We took our time and interviewed a number of electrical contractors in the city, and had them come through for an inspection and $$ quote. In the end, we chose Axion. Largely because of their attention to detail during the inspection -it was much more thorough than most of the others. A couple of the other electricians we interviewed actually seemed rather indifferent about taking on our work- which annoyed me. If you're not gonna bother to at least feign interest in the job, then don't bother offering to do it in the first place. Sheesh. There was none of that with Axion though. They seemed to take a genuine interest in our house and needs. They thoroughly explained our options and their intentions in how they would go about bringing everything up to current code; and we had a very reasonable price quote in hand relatively quickly. The actual work went quickly as well. Within the span of two and a half days they had relocated the main electrical line for the house; relocated and upgraded the breaker box; added necessary grounding rods; added two outside receptacles; relocated and upgraded three bathroom receptacles, and upgraded something like 20 regular plugs. Throughout all of that they kept things tidy as they worked. Communication was excellent throughout too. The city inspector came by a couple days later and gave it all a thumbs up. In fact he was rather complimentary of their work. He especially seemed to like the work on the breaker box. They're licensed, insured, bonded...all that stuff that doesn't seem to matter as much as $price$ to most of us; but most importantly, they're competent. They made what could have been a nightmare a very easy experience. It is appreciated.
