Not happy. Still on…read morethe quest to find denim leggings for the Lakers Hawks game tommorrow, so I go into this BCBG location in Dillards at Atlantic Station. I had seen some here before, but lack of time made it impossible for me to try them on then. Now I admit that I'm on the low side of being a plus size lady, so sometimes just for the sake of quality I realize that I just might have to buy on the high end....for some things...u just cant wear the $10 ones from Ross...so I go into this leased area of Dillards and explain to the lady at the counter...I want denim leggins. Well....I work in retail, so I know that our cell phones are not allowed on the sales floor, but really....who follows that rule??? I have even told a few people in my life....oh...dont get off the phone...i'm just browsing, but this lady..... ME....I am lookin for demin leggings HER....never looked up from her phone....oh...they are on the 30% off rack. ME...where is that? HER...over there ME....(huh.....where is that) Finally somone from the department on the other side of "over there" comes and says...can I help u? Dont u know Miss Madam had the nerve to tell him.....leave my customer alone. SHEESH....she wouldnt look up from her phone to help....and now telling someone to leave me alone that will help. So...I find some leggins (not on the 30% off rack) and I say....are these 30%off also.....(back to textin on her phone) looks up and says...NO....I say oh...are u running any promotions where I get money off (again...never looked up from the phone) that ended yesterday she says...oh...well is there any way u can honor it today...or is there a manger I can speak with, I say....oh...I'm the asst manager here and it would be me and I cant authorzie that? So I ask...well what was the promotion...she says....if u signed up for our email list, u will get 20% off of regular price merchandise, I say....oh...well I'll give u my email if you give me the 20% off.....(again....still texting, and showing another sales person the texts that she has received....still hasnt looked up at me yet)....no that was only being ran from Thursday to Sunday... So I say...well...u know...its a "recession"...r u really going to allow me to put these $108 leggings back on the rack and walk out this store empty handed, no one pays full price for anything anymore. I can see if it was a special promotion or coupon...but u want my email for 20% off....thats not even a real promotion. She didnt even respond.....the other clerk that she was showing her texts and photos too (she was in the band at her high school) says...theres nothing we can do for you. "WE"....u work upstairs in childrens. I just heard u say you are on your break. Well....u all know me....Made it my business to call the district manager this morning. I swear, customer service is coming back to retail if I have to die bringin it back. I think it wouldnt have been so bad...but when she said...I'm the asst manager...that just irked me....u are in management and u are sitting here textin and ignoring a customer. Well not this customer.

I hadn't been to this mall in quite some time, and I never realized that they had an American Eagle Outfitters store in there until recently! It isn't the biggest AE store I've been to, but it's not too small either. Like other AE stores, they have their sale racks (my favorite section) towards the back. There wasn't a great selection of stuff on sale in my size, but I was pleasantly surprised that the store in general was pretty clean and organized. I didn't get anything that day, but often times I'm able to find nice AE polo shirts at low prices (sometimes less than $10!). I feel that the quality of AE clothing is generally really good for their prices. Although their "Short" women's jeans are still too long for me (I always have to get them altered), I really like their boot cut. Overall, this AE store gets 4 stars - for being a bit neater and more organized than your average AE store, and definitely one of the best stores in Gwinnett Place Mall. I didn't talk to any of the staff, but that's how I like it if I don't need any help. I'll be back if I'm ever in Gwinnett Place Mall again! [Review 053 of 366]

I came in with receipt in hand to return a sweater and they said it was unacceptable. Anyways if you can avoid this spot and find another location, the mall it's in is dead anyways. Their prices are on the high end of reasonable; although they ALWAYS have a sale going on, plus I get coupons from them every week in my email and once a month in the snail mail. Oh and sometimes if you check-in via foursquare you'll receive a coupon code! The Gwinnett Place store has what seems to be less of a selection than other locations, but I've found more often than not it's easier to find smaller sizes here that are sold out at other locations. I have noticed on occasion that the MSRP price has been removed from the sale tags on clothing and remarked with a sticker gun to mark up the price $5-$10 so beware. I've often taken two of the same shirt to the counter to get them to honor the cheaper MSRP price.
