I'm taking my daughter to England this weekend (we are from Florida) and this is literally on our agenda the weekend we get in. The food is so flavorful and delicious. It was really busy and people were being turned away on a Thursday evening which is always a sign of good food. As a result I'd recommend booking a table in advance. You can get the metrolink to Altrincham then a taxi down to Hale or the train goes all the way there. This place really stands out from some of the samey average/poor curry houses in south Manchester.

Medium/hot spice but lacking in actual flavour although the chicken pieces in it were a good size and quality which some Indians do fall down on. The onion rice was good but my plain naan was cold which made it unpalatable. Hungry other half (Dan F) ordered an extra mushroom rice half way through the meal and I found this very greasy and indefinitely wouldn't order it again. Dan F is sitting next to me currently saying his main was really enjoyable so I'm adding that in but after we had such a good experience down the road in Hale at Coriander a few weeks ago I'd definitely go there instead.
