They completed an awning several years ago at a very fair price…read more Lately I requested another awning to be replaced. The team took down the frame and planned on recovering in in a month or two. Over 3 months have passed and no awning: here's the catch...they stated that their "sewer" had quit and absconded with cash and they were trying very hard to train a replacement. The Hajeks who own and run Pride City Awning are good, honest, hard-working people whose price estimates are amazingly lower than Springs awning companies. I'm confident in waiting for them to recover and complete the job.

They said they'd need to take it to the shop to evaluate it. They then called with a cost to just replace the fabric which far exceeded the cost for an entirely new awning at their major competitor. I said thanks but no thanks. They then charged me $600 for "removal and disposal" of the awning. My interactions with them were consistently unprofessional on their part. Super happy with the competitor who replaced the entire awning with a far superior one at half the price.

Had the work done (new awning) 3 years ago. It was a complete nightmare from beginning to end. I…read morehad to call Ron (mostly unresponsive), to get his folks out here to repair my awning. I called and called and called, left messages and finally received a call back, each and every time. I can't count how many times I had to have his workers come out to repair my awning. Not only did they come out to repair it, each and every time a worker came out it was a different worker. They kept quitting or getting fired, and basically hated what they were doing. Now, it's been 3 years and I've attempted to call his office (the phone is no longer in service). Called his cell number (the number is no longer in service). Called the company's phone and it went to voice mail, but I did get a number to call, so I called it. I believe Ron answered can kept saying "hello, hello, hello". Apparently he either didn't hear me or didn't want to speak with me. I've left messages on his work phone to call me, I've texted him on his cell phone - crickets is all I hear. All I wanted is to have someone come out and adjust this awning since one side is much lower than the other. Sure I can watch Youtube and most likely do it myself, but why?? I thought this thing was under warranty - evidently not! The reason I gave this company a 2 star is I rarely give out 1 stars. I did give it a 5 star when the job was finally completed, but I gave it some thought and I don't believe the overall work was rated even close to 5 stars.

Both showed up at the scheduled appointment time and called ahead to verify. BUT let me tell you about Edgar and AJ who came to install. Can't tell you how amazing these guys were. They had to climb into my attic to locate the studs, as they weren't able to locate on the exterior stucco. They were both so pleasant and definitely knew what they were doing. In a world where contractors are frequently a no-show and do a half-@ss job, Edgar and AJ shine. Liberty is quite lucky to have such amazing employees. Highly recommend Liberty and ask for Edgar and AJ for your install.

We are now in March 2026. I have NO Pella Reserve windows as agreed, NO new Provia front door as agreed, NO new Provia storm door as agreed.
