A tip was added without our permission.

The food was decent but overpriced! We were disappointed to see that the receipt included a tip without our permission. That is considered poor business practice. Typically a tip is given based on the performance of the service. Why would they include a tip if they don't know how we feel about the service. UNSATISFACTORY!!!

Parking is free, the Inn doesn't seem to be in operation

[Above all, will I be back?] This place is small and cute but the food was totally disappointing and the location is sketchy so.. As a Vegas local, I don't think I will come back anytime soon. Hope they can have updated interior with brighter atmosphere then I will try another shot for the $3 PBR. 1. Food - Cafeteria There were Thai options so I ordered Pat Thai which is the basic fried noodles in Thailand. The portion was good but the sauce was totally wrong. I tasted ketchup in the sauce! I am sure this was not made by Thai person! - Drinks: All day is happy hour. PBR beer is $3. 2. Ambience - Outside: The building is run down. The "Inn" didn't seem to operate at the moment. Outside is kinda sketchy (homeless and shopping carts here and there) so I wouldn't come here at night. - Casino One of the smallest, dark and old school dive casino. Around 10 slot machines with a bar. - Cafeteria It has a huge window wall that you can see Strat hotel. You order and pay at the counter. There are about 15 tables. 3. Service They bring you the foods in plastic basket and a paper plate. that's it. No wait staff. Security guards, bartender were nice and friendly. 4. Hygiene - Casino floor: It was dark but I could tell it was old and not necessarily clean. - Cafeteria, everything was clean. 5. Price (Look at my pictures) 95% of the menu is not $5 (except sides like french fries, fried eggrolls), prices were between $12-$15.99. It is a normal restaurant price. Water is not included, $1/bottle. $5 for well drinks, $7 for Bloody Mary 6. Restroom You need to ask a security guy to open the door. It was clean and properly maintained. Gender separated. 7. Location Just across from the Strat hotel & casino. 8. Parking The spot size is tight and kinda sketchy. 9. ETC - No split checks at table. - a 20% Gratuity for parties of 5 or more - Cash or debit card only ($15 or under will be $1 charge) ** If this review was helpful, please vote :) @juxycat **

Aztec Inn is an old school dive casino. It has cheap slots and food. Kind of sketchy in the area and outside. Close to a few of the more interesting neighborhoods with the pawn shops and those types of businesses. The casino is kind of fun even though it stinks. It actually isn't as bad. Some good things are really here like how cheap the cafe is. The casino reeks but it's part of the charm it seems. Menu is Asian. This is weird because it should be Aztec food and Asian has nothing to do with this. Anyway if all you care about is cheap food then this is good. The food in the cafe is about $5 for an entree, which is pretty nice. Of course there's problems such as the quality and it's not fresh. There's no vegan options. Cheap slots with cheap Asian food. It's a combo that actually works out here. They do it much better than Resorts World.

While on my lunch break walked here to use bathroom and gamble. I to poop badly so I pooped first. About 8 minutes and security comes pounding on door to rush me. I'm telling him as I see he's yellow uniform to hurry and I tell him I'm finishing off and he replies to hurry up I'm taking too long and doesn't take this long to poop. He waits for me at door and I tell him why rush me as if I'm not using bathroom. I'm not smoking. I'm not drinking. Security is being rude and disregards my explanation that I was just using bathroom. I ask for his name and he REFUSES. I ask bartender for security and he refuses as well. Asked security for name and his guard card and he refuses to provided that information.

    Great food

One of our favorite places when in Vegas. Great food and drinks. We make a point of stopping every time

    Great prices!

This place gets a bad rap! I'm so happy I decided to give them a try. The food is delicious, the staff is VERY professional and the prices are IMPRESSIVE! It doesn't look like much when you first walk-in, so it's easy to think the worse. It's a clean, safe place to catch a drink or a bite to eat. I can't say enough about the professionalism of the $5 Cafe located inside.

Was staying across the street and the wife and I decided to go for a late night cap. Sat at the bar counter to play the video slots and have a couple of drinks. Bartender was nice and had good conversation. Low and behold I hit $707.00 on the video slot game. It was a good night and turned into leaving the casino at 5:40am. Will be there this weekend for a late cap and maybe some more money! Frank and Evelyn Jurado

This review is solely based on the food and environment. I ordered Beef Pad Thai and it just didn't cut it. I'm big on Thai food and I just didn't like it. It was far from the traditional taste I'm used to. It was.. ketchup-y. The sauce for it was just off / not to my liking. Secondly. The place reeks of cigarettes. Now this is Vegas, so a good number of places here specifically Casino's and Inn's like this, the smell just offset my appetite even more. If you don't mind the smell then by all means. They do have a wide variety on the menu. From burgers to Mexican food etc. maybe I just made the wrong choice that day, I'm sure the burgers are fine. Thai Tea was good. Good portion too, unlike other places that fill up a glass with 85% ice. They also have desserts here. I almost ordered a cheesecake. Service was very decent, considering I was the only customer but he looked like he was handling some of the gaming side as well. Experience went well.

The worst possible place to eat breakfast. Absurd credit card rules. No split checks at table. No free refills posted everywhere... $3.50 for a drink and no refills....ha!! Their $5 breakfast is only one option. All other breakfasts are $12-14 served on a paper plate. Want a glass of water... not free... it's $1 for a bottle. Avoid the place like the plague. Vickey's is a better option.

Soda was available to wash it all down. They had other other foods as well. But, I wasn't interested as I pre-emptively took my gout medicine, so that I could eat more of my favorite gout inducing foods. They had a wonderful selection of desserts, most made with sugar and some sugar free. The gelato was yummy. Service was great from the time we checked in to the time we left. We paid for our dinner at the time we made reservations. Our server was good. She made sure our plates were cleared and cups were filled. The last time we visited the buffet, we waited in line for almost 2 hours and had to speed eat after being seated as it was close to closing time. I'm glad things changed. Reservations opened up and were made 30 days ahead of the day of our visit. They still had a line, but, with reservations, we went straight in. I enjoyed the Wynn buffet. I liked that they now take reservations. I would definitely come back.

At the time we went, brunch was $54.99 per person, and we paid around $124 total for the two of us. Considering it's Las Vegas and during a holiday, I'd say the price felt reasonable for the variety offered. The buffet had a wide selection of food. They had all the brunch basics like eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, and an omelet station where they cook it fresh. There were also plenty of lunch options including pasta, pizza, roasted meats, and a carving station with prime rib. What I liked most was the variety--they also had sushi, a salad bar, fresh fruits, and a seafood section with shrimp, oysters, salmon, and other options. For drinks, they offered coffee, tea, and juice, which was convenient. And of course, there were lots of desserts like cakes, pastries, gelato, and mini sweets. The atmosphere felt more festive since it was New Year's Day. It was a bit busy, but still organized, and the place has that elegant Bellagio vibe without feeling too overwhelming. Personally, I didn't eat as much as I wanted because I wasn't feeling well that day and didn't have much of an appetite (as I've mentioned in my past videos), but my husband really enjoyed the food, so that made the experience worth it for us. Overall, if you're in Vegas during the holidays and want a place with a lot of options in one spot, this is a good choice. Just come hungry to really make the most out of it!

This was a great place to check out. I was surprised that it was actually literally an oyster bar…read more An actual bar in the middle of the casino. Wasn't sure what I was expecting when she said oyster bar, but it was not what I was expecting. . It was a cool vibe and one of the first things that stood out that she was surprised about was that there was no line. My friend said it's the first time she's been there and there was not a line. Treated her to dinner after letting crash at her place with less than 24 hrs notice. We were there on a Tuesday evening everything that we did this day appeared to be a light crowd day. Tuesday's is the day to go hang out in Vegas if you want shorter lines. I ordered the gumbo with only shrimp as the protein with the okra. It was yummy. I enjoyed it. The gravy was nice. I ended up with two bowls of white rice, which is not typically my choice. However, it was. It was great in there with the gravy and okra and I got the lowest spice level I could which was one so everything was pretty cool there large portions lots of shrimp. I cut my shrimp in half cause I like my things bite-size I have a very small mouth and I was laughing because they gave me a really large spoon which is too big for my mouth so I use my fork that came with a napkin. My friend ordered the BOUILLABAISSE. She powered through it quickly, so I think it was pretty tasty for her too. Three things that got my attention. 1. I enjoyed seeing them prepare our meal right there in front of us how efficient and clean and things were so that was great and it was a bit of a show. 2. They served me water with ice. I don't necessarily appreciate that. I don't like ice in my water and I would prefer them to ask me what I'd like to drink before just serving me something, there may be however, how they do it at bars I don't go to a lot of bars. I'm also sensitive because I have bladder disorder and cold things set off my bladder. 3. I didn't care for the dynamics and exchange that felt off when trying to pay with my tap from my phone. I had to literally give him the phone to do the payment and I feel like that's a little bit of a disconnect the purpose of my mind of doing my tap is so that I don't have to give you my card or my phone so I feel like that's something that's gotta be a little bit more efficient for them to work on especially how busy they are and you know the amount of traffic that takes place in a bar. I love the look and the set up. It felt really cool. It didn't feel like we were sitting in the middle of a casino although we were. I loved seeing them prepare the food from start to finish. That was also really great. I would definitely go there again if I'm in town and we're in the mood for that type of food it had the New Orleans, Louisiana flavor vide to theme to me and really clean. On that note so are the bathrooms. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the cleanliness and the speed to get in and out of the bathrooms. I'm always gonna give a review on the bathrooms cause they're very important to me as I do have bladder disorder. I hope you all find this read helpful.
