During a Vaughan town English Immersion Camp we went here for a wine tasting and it was amazing!!…read moreThe grounds at Mont Reaga are breath taking with a large and clear pond leading up to acres of green, orange, and tawny colored lands surrounding the main buildings where the wine is produced. Our tour guide was welcoming and friendly. He took us through the entire wine process from grape to bottle. We were welcomed with a taste of their youngest white wine, which was crisp and light. Then we were taken outside to see their vineyards and the rest of the property. It was a bit cold, so we mainly stayed inside and were shown the tanks and barrels where the wine is prepared. They use a sustainable and bio friendly wine process, so no chemicals are added to enhance the taste. It is just the grapes that are processed and it shows in the deliciousness and pure taste of their wines.
To end the tour we were taken into their tasting room where we tried their red reserva and classic Crianza wines along with some tapas. Both were wonderful, but the classic one was my favorite, so I took a bottle home. All of their wines are 30 euros or less, so a great deal for a bottle!! The tour was also inexpensive at just 6 euros per person and they picked some of us up as well!! I definitely will be back!!
