Love their pastries and cinnamon rolls! Quaint little place. Easy to get too. Plenty of parking.

Walking in on a Friday afternoon during Lent, the place was buzzing. Orders flying, families dining, energy high. Yet somehow, it never felt chaotic. It felt alive. As a first-timer, I signed up for their rewards program on the spot, and that's when Casey stepped in. Friendly, patient, and genuinely attentive, he helped us redeem our introductory discount and guided us through the menu without a hint of impatience. That kind of service stays with you. And the food? Exactly what road-weary travelers dream of. Hot, fresh, comforting, and satisfying in a way that feels earned after miles on the highway. Every bite hit the spot. What stood out most was the balance. A busy location that still delivers warm, personal service and quality food without missing a beat. That's not easy to pull off. This wasn't just a quick stop. It was a reset. A reminder that great service still exists. I'll be thinking about this stop the next time I hit the road.

Plus, on more than one occasion Diane and I had previously arrived here around 8:30 p.m. and were warmly greeted, seated, and enjoyed our ordered meals. But this Sunday night two days after Halloween, after we had crossed the Colorado River on the Don Laughlin Bridge and had driven for half an hour from our home in Laughlin, we arrived at 8:25 p.m. only to find the restaurant dark and locked, with nobody inside. Granted this was the first day of a time change in California and Nevada from Daylight Savings Time to Standard Time. But this circumstance should have had no effect on Arizona, whose time zone remained the same as the day before. Disappointed, we went in search of another place to eat dinner, and after encountering the kitchen staff of China Panda in the restaurant's parking lot about to leave for home half an hour earlier than its posted closing hour, finally wound up at reliable Black Bear Diner. We were the only patrons seated in the entire capacious restaurant until a few other people walked inside about 15 minutes later This spooky night felt like Halloween, but the tricks and added hunger we experienced occurred just a bit later.

We got seated very quickly and there was live music for our entertainment. We ordered a couples share which let us pick a starter and then we had a choice of soup or salad and an entree for each of us. I got the 6 oz sirloin and it was salty and our waitress asked us how our food was and I told her it was too salty so she took it back and then she brought me a different steak and it was delicious. All of our food was really hot and tasted fresh and flavorful. The service was excellent. Wish we had room for dessert because the chocolate cake looked so tasty. We will be coming back for more another night.

We didn't have a reservation but we as a party of 6 was seated within no more than 10 mins. The waiters/waitresses are super friendly, attentive and patient as we looked over the menu. I ordered the Shrimp Platter, it was 100/100, best sautéed shrimp I have ever tasted! Came with a choice of a side salad or soup. As you can see I ordered a Cesar salad. All salads come with the dressing on the side so you can add as much as you like, I prefer and appreciate that. For my drink I ordered the Blood Orange Margarita with a sugared rim, blended, which also was a 100/100. All around everything I ordered was delicious, I wasn't disappointed at all! When my family and I come back to bull head city we will for sure come here again! ***They have two payment options with two different amounts, one if you use cash and one if you use credit card which is 3% added***

We were greeted warmly, and seated quickly, and our server's name is John. The menu is very diverse. I believe that Perkins is known for its breakfast and its baked goods. I ordered the blueberry pancake breakfast, and my husband ordered the Everything Omelette. It came with an apple cinnamon muffin, which was delicious. The coffee is very good. Has a great flavor. You can't stop at one cup! The blueberries in my pancakes were just delectable. I would describe the pancakes as moist, flavorful, fluffy, and definitely not pasty! You cannot go wrong by either one of these meals. The highlight of our visit was our server John he was very kind. Took interest in our stay here in Laughlin and gave us wonderful service! He even offered us Desert. Thank you we will be back! Don't be surprised if we drive an hour and a half from Las Vegas just to come to Perkins!

The meal was plentiful, more than I could eat so I had lots of leftovers for dinner. The restaurant is easy to find, near Hobby Lobby and Ashley furniture on the 95. Lots of parking. Give them a try.
