This farmers market ROCKS!! FIRST AND FOREMOST it is dog friendly! Manassas, Dale City and most of…read morethe others are NOT and if I can't bring my puppy with me, there isn't a reason for me to go. OK. now that we have that out of the way... the food here is wonderful. The produce is beautiful and fresh and delicious. Like another reviewer mentioned, the produce tent on the left when you first come in has the most delicious peaches, plums and apples I've ever had, much better than the ones I picked at the Orchard! Magic Mikes BBQ is delicious!!! Best BBQ locally, inexpensive and friendly! They have the best array of BBQ sauces so you'll have plenty of choices! The basket lady! There are some gorgeous handmade baskets most Sundays where you can buy wonderful market baskets to carry around all of your produce! COWBOY PATRICK! I'm not sure if he's really a cowboy, but he's always happy and smiling wearing a cowboy hat! He's over to the barn on the left towards the road. Has the best fresh local meat and honey that he raises himself! He also goes to the Manassas market on Saturdays but its' way too busy and Manassas also is...well Manassas. Frequently in the summer months they have a portable pizza oven vendor that makes amazing pizzas that you can enjoy in case you're not a BBQ person! The variety of stands you get here trumps almost every other market I've been to in the area. In the warmer months there is a local organic popsicle vendor, a tent where they make birdhouses and creative household items out of old license plates, guacamole, beautiful orchids, pretty lanterns, great jewelry, tasty coffee, a man that handcrafts exquisite knives out of vintage repurposed metal and exotic wood, all the produce you could ask for, local eggs, alpaca wool and items made from alpaca, the cookie man, gluten free desserts...the list goes on!!! It looks like a few vendors will remain midway through November so stock up on everything you can before it's over for winter. But make sure you come back early next year and experience all they have to offer! It really is a wonderful place with some great, friendly people, delicious food and beautiful handmade items (perfect for Christmas presents!!!)

Very much worth checking out! Great alternative to the Haymarket farmers market if you're looking…read morefor more actual farmers than food/retail vendors. The variety of produce at this market is amazing.

Just an updated review of how much I love this place. It's been about a year since my last review…read moreand it feels people are a bit more organized with their set up. I still really like Rita's but right across from them is a wonderful charcuterie/beef selection. I usually get their naked bacon and black pepper bacon because my boyfriend loves it. They also sell really good hot dog sausages on the side. Verna's bakery is another up and coming one with their smoothie selection. I'm huge into their green machine. It's busy but everything moves fairly quickly.

Cozy farmers market on Saturday mornings (closes at 1:30) with over a dozen vendors selling bbq,…read morecheese, coffee, cold-pressed juice, produce, pastries, infused rum, and dog bones. My hubby and I caught the tail-end of the market and bought some treats to take home! Veg Heaven - Scrumptious vegan pastries particularly the moist and fluffy blueberry muffin! The banana muffin and apple turnovers are tasty too. While the bbq fried chicken sandwich was fun to try, it was dense and messy. The chocolate eclairs that I got from the Capital Harvest on the Plaza farmers market in DC was divine. The pastries rotate around different farmers markets, will have to check out their Tyson's location! Twin Valley Distilleries - The whiskey and flavored rum tasting was too tempting to pass up a bottle! The sweetness of the fresh juices perfectly masked the rum, cutting the alcohol content to 15% ABV. Refreshing and perfect for a warm summer day with a nice kick! We bought all 3 flavored rums at $25/each - Hibiscus Sorrel, Fruit Punch, and Pineapple. Potomac Sweets - The croissants and decadent pastries looked scrumptious! Although the pastries are stored in a glass display case, they are still baking under the sun and are dry and stale. The brownie was alright. Recommend grabbing a pastry here bright and early when the market opens. Senzu Juice - Refreshing cold-pressed juices. The "Refresh" Watermelon Mint juice is my favorite. Liberty Delight Farms - All sorts of dog goodies from raw bones to chunky pieces of dried beef heart and chicken/beef liver. Treat your dog at the market! Great place to grab some breakfast and some treats to take home!
